This is actually no update. Of course you won't recover from Alzheimer's unless you are Ernest Saunders. -
So naive....

Don Murray, Jerry Hardin and Bob Newhart are other big names. I always forget Hardin is still alive.

What other actors with a cult following born in the 20s remain? Those who spring to mind now are William Daniels (1927), Paul Dooley (1928), Earl Holliman (1928) and James Hong (1929).

That's a shame. Joe Turkel and him in rapid succession. Unsung heroes of character actors' world.

Dom Luiz of Orléans-Braganza's conditions are now irreversible

Luis Echeverría (1922-2022) Did someone just run out of pneumonias? Oh, no that's a tragedy! (No one on Luis Echeverria's death) Age at death: 100 Known health issues: Suffering from cerebrovascular disease since 2006 at least, hospitalised multiple times with pneumonia from 2017 to 2019, wheelchair bound and frail in 2021. Cause of death: Natural causes. Died quietly in his sleep, a luck many of his victims didn't have. Alignment: As minister of the Interior in the 60s he was responsible for introducing extensive repression, which culminated in Tlatelolco massacre of 1968, whereabout 400 people, mostly students were mowed down as ordered by Echeverria and president Diaz Ordaz. Echeverria later admitted they were unarmed and the massacre had the goal of detroying the student movement. As a president, he held close relationship with both sides and Mexican economy improved rapidly. Nonethless, he sticked to his old habits and was the inventor of death flights, which were soon to be adopted throughout all Latin America. He also escaped justice for the rest of his life. Yes, a good person, summarizing.
