Frank Bruno hospitalised and seemingly suffering from neurological illness. Not in immediate danger, but a likely start of the decline.

Shimon Kagan (wiki), Israeli master, reportedly dead at 82.

Droppable names: Pope Francis (fragile health, but could be fine for some more years) Sandy Gall (will probably go, but who really cares if he is not on the list? calculated risk) Robert Wagner (doing fine, despite COPD and decrepitude) Nigel Starmer-Smith (at this point he can cling on years. Beside that, he would not be that hell of a miss) Vanessa Redgrave (despite all her moans, doing fine) Julie Walters (the obvious drop) Linda Nolan (take the risk, after all she is an attention seeker) Louis Farrakhan (sadly doing very well) Dick Cheney (no issues for a while) Brigitte Bardot (doing well) Ted Turner (still doing very well, will likely see 88/89) Sly Stone (no specific health issues, too young) Tom Baker (doing well) Joe Bugner (too young, a risk to take) I'd keep Castro as he seemed quite thinner at his last appearance. The reality is many of the drops will die anyway, so good luck.

Nah, they were immediately blown to ashes. It is just embarassing that Hezbollah is not even able to acknowledge it.
-
Yep, that was widely reported on these forums.

According to some online obits Ifigenia Martinez Hernandez was born in 1925, which would make her 99 when electes to the presidency of the chamber of deputies. That must be some kind of world record.

The clowns are not confirming anything, but it seems more and more likely both Safieddine and Esmail Qaani were killed. It is a big humiliation for Iran.

Novelist Lore Segal (wiki) has been in hospice care since June.

Those news are from 4 years ago.

Jorge Lanata back in hospital with the usual health issues. The Argentine equivalent of Jayapataka.

Turkish media are now reporting Safieddine has just been injured. I can't see how he survived if he was actually there.
-
For once he was even funny.

Lea Pericoli reportedly dead at 89.
-
Hezbollah says they don't know about Safieddine.

Controversial left-wing director Nanni Moretti recently suffered a heart attack, but he has already been discharged and back to public life. He survived cancer twice, in the 90s and 2010s. I'd never thought he would make old bones.

Michel Blanc dead at 72. Famous in France?

Jimmy Carter is a good metaphor for the list. There is not a single fucking reason why the list should not score, exactly as there is not a single rational reason for him to be still alive. This list risks to be the worst in more than 30 years, and it is not even remotely as bad as it was sometimes. Carter, Chomsky, now even Van Dyke are on the clock. Laine looked horrible last year. Skinner was on his deathbed five years ago. Starmer-Smith was already a cadaver there years ago. Whale and Nolan have had "terminal" cancer forever. Woodward has one of the longest Alzheimer's cases in America. Hackman looked dead last year. Law has been sick for years, yet he is the only elder footballer not to cop it. Rantzen has another alleged terminal cancer. Flack has fucking ALS at 87. Rollins has suffered from years of pulmonary fibrosis. And even without them, Nelson, Castro, Marcos, Bardot, Le Pen and many others are over 90 and could go at any moment (most of them have also been very sick in the past). Jimmy is just the tip of the iceberg, what's going on is nonsensical. It was nonsensical in July and it is even more nonsensical now. If you want to see it from another perspective, it's a miracle.

Director of Mossad Nahum Admoni is going strong and soon 95.
-
I often confused him with Amos Horev. This guy anyway is more important, being the last living commander of the six days war.

Tian Zhiaowu, electrochemist, dead at 97.

Trump made fun of Carter yesterday . It's at least the second time he says the same exact things. The guy is clearly senile. He reminds me of Ronald Reagan always telling the same jokes with the same introduction as it was always the first time.

It seems Valenzuela's situation was exaggerated. The Dodgers said he will be back for commentary in 2025, so far from irreversible conditions.
