I've found two/three FB posts from verified profiles announcing his death on February 18. Seems genuine by all accounts, just media being slow. I'll award points. Search for his Arabic name (without middle name Ahmed, you find it on Arabic wiki) on FB and you'll find posts with even more than 2000 reactions, and there are no denials. Good enough for me now,

Actually I would have expected other sources to report it too. For an obscure guy like Tun Tin it is normal to have just a source and not even too specific, but Ben Halim seems far more famous to me. Anyway I'll wait two days: 1)If other sources appear the hit will obviously be credited 2)if there is only that report and it has not been withdrawn it will count anyway, in absence of denials, but it will remain quite suspicious 3)If it is withdrawn or denied (even on social media, by someone with direct knowledge) it won't obviously score. And a lot of wiki edits will be reverted

@arghton, there are some serious problems with this pool: 1)It won't be over in a reasonable time. Having to pick young people for countries in which you could not find better means this will last about thirty years. I'll be long dead (or hopefully very demented) in thirty years. 2)Only you and me are playing. Theres should be more competitors. My proposal is to turn this into a "One for Continent" game like @Youth in Asia suggested. It would be much quicker and many rounds could be done, like in the Silver Screen Pool, and there surely will be much more partecipation. Obviously that's one of your games, so the final decision is up to you.
