She died of aspiration pneumonia, which was also the CoD of Lee Teng-hui and Stan Lee and almost killed Dilip Kumar twice. People who suffer from it are usually very frail. I guess The Queen of Technicolor spent her last years bedridden and in failing health.

Gosh, didn't realize this guy is legendary: lung cancer survivor, was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2001 (aged 86) and also a recurrence of lung cancer with multiple pleural effusions. Recovered, was again diagnosed with lung cancer in 2018, spent six months in hospital and recovered again. Now apparently down with it again.

Prominent Bengali actor Soumitra Chatterjee was in critical condition this past week after contracting COVID-19. It seems he is negative now, but still in a bad way. Mind you, he is a COPD sufferer and last year he has been on the brink of death for a while. Unlikely to last much longer.

Penrose is an absolute legend and deserved it. I know him mainly through his works on tiling, which are fundamental to understand quasicrystals.
