Patil Puttappa's condition has deteriorated. Critical and on life support, days at most.

Telegraph QO.

No. Due to pandemic status it will be much quicker, as many trials won't be carried out.

Reasonably vaccine will be there before autumn. And before that probably specific drugs to cure it. It won't last forever. But Italy has been in hell for weeks and still struggles to see a way out. Countries like Spain, France, UK, USA not only are at the beginning, but they are not taking it seriously enough (it also happened here, and tomorrow we'll mark 2000 deaths). Germany and Scandinavians are more serious and I think they won't sustain the same damage.

In Italy it is estemeed it will resonably "over" by Easter and government took severe measures. What you say has not the minimal mathematical chance to happen.

A week between diagnosis and death. He caught it in hospital, as he was hospitalized for other (rather minor) health issues.

A fried of mine has just died from it. 54, obese, drinker. Nothing else. There are millions like him in our country. Millions.

Nembro is a 11.000 people borough near Bergamo. In 2019 there were 120 deaths in total. In the last 12 days there have been 70 deaths. Judge for yourself...

Trump has undergone the COVID test. Maybe he is less dumb than he seems...
-
Ok, man. Then come here to see how many 50 year old who have a completely normal life go to ICU everyday for this fucking thing. Average obituaries pages for obituary on L'Eco di Bergamo is 2 pages; now it is 10 pages everyday. I see deaths everyday around me and I'm really tired of people who are not in the middle of hell and still make judgements. And God, I don't wish on anyone what we are enduring.

Boris Johnson is a dork. In a week or two he will eat any of his words or will be lynched.
-
See three posts above, though the name was not posted.

Unfortunately I'm too old for these things. *Immediately creates an account*

Maybe Germany is taking it seriously before it s too late.

Bolsonaro is a lucky disrespectful dick. If Trump gets it it will be eradicated probably in half time. Unfortunately, he is a lucky dick too and won't get it.
-
Boris Johnson is rather bastard than nuts. He just assumes young people who can work will not die from it () and it will only kill weaker population which is a burden fror NHS. When UK will change its mind about this will be definitely too late. Good luck.

Vacation in Italy.
-
The Trudeau thing has already been reported. Bolsonaro's results will be available tomorrow, so till now it should be treated as a hoax.

Could be rumours. If true, I don't expect him to die (he's not mr. Bond). Yes, he is over 60 and has had various health issues, but will receive top quality care, so his death is very unlikely. So many are dying in Italy basically because they can't receive needed care.

I read on an Italian newspaper that last year flu mortality in Italy was 0.003%. Probably underestimated. 34 times is much anyway.
-
I feel US are not taking it seriously enough. It could infect millions in a country like US and cause thousands and thousands of death. It is not a normal flu. Obviously they wouldn't do anything to prevent the flu. But this has a mortality which is 1000 times 34 times higher, they really can't afford underestimating it.

A lot. Most common in Italy are hypertension and diabetes. Something a huge percentage of population suffers from.

Ah, no. If Philip died during a COVID outbreak he would be buried privately without fanfare, like any mortal. Or they better get a good embalmer...

Actually there is no need to prepare for an antinuclear war. It would be enough to: 1)avoid any gathering of people. From 2 people onwards. 2)Keep at least 1 m (some say 2 m) of distance from other people, unless you live together. 3)Don't move from home if not for work or emergency 4)If you are taking public transport surgical mask can be very useful 5)Wash your hands every time you come back from outside. 6)Keep surfaces clean, use alcohol. 7)Avoid touching mouth and eyes with bare hands if not washed. 8)Use rubber gloves if possible. That's simple, but enough to prevent spreading of virus. If Italian government had decided to lock the country two weeks ago it would have been over, like IT IS in Codogno and Vo Euganeo (the initial red zones). They instead preferred to underestimate the problem, hide it and results were CATASTROPHIC. Now they are trying to save what they can. And they will.
