Can you link the page? BTW actress Doris Merrick has died at 100 according to edits (which seem genuine) on her Wiki page.

The explanation is you have many folks on ignore, then don't get surprised if they put you on ignore too.

Will you make a post to indicate entries are open? You know, minutes could make the difference...

Let's update it two weeks later: 1)Lata Mangeshkar: Still in ICU, but family insists she is recovering fast and literally "not going anywhere". Probably will be discharged before next year. 2)Daniel arap Moi: Still in hospital, he has fully recovered and will be discharged in days. 3)Jimmy Carter: Recovered and discharged from hospital. 4)Balbir Singh: Recovered and discharged from hospital- 5)Pedro Pablo Kuczsinsky: Recovered and discharged from hospital. Two bonuses: Manolis Glezos: Recovered and shifted to a regular ward from ICU. Expected to be discharged within days. Everton Weekes: Still in hospital, condition unknown.

So our nr. 1 is dead. Yasuhiro Nakasone was a great leader and "Ron & Yasu" was one of the best comical duos around in the 80s. It seems state leaders have big trpuble at getting to 102, as the last four nr. 1s all died at 101. C'est la vie. Congrats to mr. Hyun Soong-jong, former South Korean PM who is quite invisible historically speaking, even for his Country. 102 in March 2021; will he finally make it? We'll see... Seventeenth round: 1)Hyun Soong-jong (1919), Prime Minister of South Korea 2)Hau Pei-tsun (1919), Prime Minister of Taiwan 3)Javier Perez de Cuellar (1920), Prime Minister of Perù 4)Josip Manolic (1920), Prime Minister of Croatia 5)Kim Yong-ju (1920), vacancy Head of State of North Korea 6)Tun Tin (1920), Prime Minister of Burma 7)Mustafa ben Halim (1921), Prime Minister of Lybia 8)Francisco Morales Bermudez (1921), President of Perù 9)Luis Echeverria (1922), President of Mexico 10)Janez Stanovnik (1922), President of Communist Slovenia 11)Milos Jakes (1922), General Secretary of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia 12)Jules Sedney (1922), Prime Minister of Suriname 13)Branislav Soskic (1922) President of Communist Montenegro 14) Lee Teng-hui (1923), President of Taiwan 15)Khamtai Siphandon (1924) Prime Minister and President of Laos 16)Tomiichi Murayama (1924) Prime Minister of Japan 17)Abderrahmane Youssoufi (1924) Prime Minister of Morocco 18)Kenneth Kaunda (1924) President of Zambia 19)Daniel arap Moi (1924), President of Kenya 20)Jimmy Carter (1924), President of United States of America 21)Lubomir Strougal (1924), Prime Minister of Czechoslovakia 22)Guillermo Rodriguez Lara (1924), President of Ecuador 23)Abdelsalam Majali (1925), Prime Minister of Jordan 24)Ali Hassan Mwinyi (1925), President of Tanzania 25)Giorgio Napolitano (1925), President of Italy 26)Mahathir Mohamad (1925), Prime Minister of Malaysia 27)Mohammad Hasan Sharq (1925), Chairman of Council of Ministers of Afghanistan 28)Ali Bozer (1925), Prime Minister of Turkey 29)Yang Hyong-sop (1925), Chairman of the Presidium of North Korea 30)Arnaldo Forlani (1925), Prime Minister of Italy Arnaldo Forlani was one of the most influential political figures in the Italian 80s (CAF, Craxi, Andreotti, Forlani). Destroyed by a huge corruption scandal like the DC itself, he spent some weeks in ICU in 2016, and it seemed the end, but it wasn't. Still giving interviews and walking unaided. Choose your pick!

You have to wait for a new round to be started before choosing your picks. Don't worry, it'll be done before this evening.

Yes. Cardenal so "gravely ill" he will travel to Mexico in early December. Another fucking fraudster.

He got funded by Punjab government for cures. Actually accepting your mortality rather than refusing it should seems easy, but it is not. In a Mangeshkar situation they should have said "She is a 90 year old on life support and everything could happen". No, they said "she is a singer and her lung capacity got her through, she is fine, she is doing better, Lataji is fine" and a mountain of dorkades. Carter made a sensible speech, and it is un uncommon feature.

I know many things can not be fixed, but this world ranges from people who die suddenly in thei 30s/40s to old vegetables who need 456 mortal illnesses to finally "sadly" kick the bucket. So unfair. And I'm not angry with people, who, despite their age, are in good health. Dick van Dyke, Queen Elizabeth, Fauja Singh, many others have no real reason to die. But then you see those people who are cranky old (all in their late 90s!) and terribly ill who get the best care and always make it out till the next time. What is the point in continuing to live in such conditions? When you've had your life, and a long one too, you should learn to go peacefully. Really few people understand this and refuse futile care (a noble behaviour which does not mean you are going to die... see Thich Nhat Hahn or Henry Gray); I incredibly admire Barbara Bush for taking the decision, she could have still been there in and out of hospital. But most of old people (and their families) are greedily attached to life, après moi le deluge, and don't even realize one day they will die too. See how Lata Mangeshkar's family handled the situation! She has been "getting much better" for two weeks and still she is on life support. What's the point? You think a Bharat Ratna recipient can not die? Accept your own mortality, you are 90 years old, most people are decomposed by your age! No, all those guys, Moi, Balbir, Mangeshkar, Glezos, Kibaki, etc. are incredibly arrogant toward deaths. They think they won't die or so think their close ones. Jimmy Carter has said he is at peace with his own mortality, and that should be eulogized, as he could say usual bullshit like "I'm too busy to die, I'll live to 300, I'm getting better with age, etc.". Bad president, but a great man.
