He did not do anything to prevent it. Or repair.

    Jimmy Carter

U.S. once had a president who let Iran become a shari'a state, cut ties with Taiwan in favour of cruel communist China and financed mujahideens who would later attack the US using theose money. Great job, Jimmy.

Ash said "she felt like 200" because she had a portrait as a historical figure, I think. Physically she look amazing. I've already posted about Seghizzi's birthday. Her health has considered worsened since last December.

    The 100 Club

Afro-American aviator Azellia White has died at 106. Obviously this is only an excuse to post a list of people born in 1913 after her and Feingold's deaths. There are no claimants (people like Fauja Singh or Saalumarada Thimmaka) for 1913, so here we go. 1)Carl J. Shapiro. American Jewish businessman who was a victim of Bernard Madoff. His wife Ruth Gordon died in 2012 and daughter Rhonda Zinner in 2014. 2)Toko Shinoda. Legendary Japanese painter, she is still giving interviews at 106, but her health has been frail for years. 3)Pappukutty Bhagavathar. Indian actor and playback singer, patriarch of a Malayalam cinema family. His last appearance dates back to 2016, has not been seen since then though he is said to be still well. Widower since 2017. 4)Arthur L. Thurlow. Canadian MLA, widower since 2006. 5)Vance Trimble. American journalist who won a Pulitzer in 1960. Trimble has been shocked by the death of his wife in 1999 and has built a mausoleum for her. Still in good health as of 2015. 6)G. Venkatasubbiah. Indian Kannada lexicographer. He went to vote in May and was still able to walk with a cane, but he was much thinner than usual, expecially his arms, which is never a good sign. Padma Shri recipient. 7)Boris Pahor. The great Slovenian writer, is well enough to give interviews, but did not manage to attend his 106th birthday party in late August. 8)Julie Gibson. American starlet with a prenoted grave in Idaho. 9)Mac Conner. American commercial illustrator. Still alive, if you have doubts. I had.

All things in the right direction, DI. Reminds me of Golden Slumbers in 2017 and there is no such competition now.

Could you please show us pictures. I haven't seen a picture of Julie Gibson as a old woman yet. And the 105th article is bullshit, seems the classical research based on Wiki. No proof at all she is even still alive!

African Leaders - Despots and Democratic

So here's who went to Bobby Mugs's funeral and who didn't. Kenneth Kaunda was there though he needed aide to stand up, aide provided by Nigeria's seemingly ethernal Olasegun Obasanjo. BTW a Zambian prophet has predicted KK will die before his 96th birthday like Mandela and Mugabe (and Jawara I add). Also there were Sam Nujoma (who will be with us for a long long time) and his lapdog Pohamba. What are the notable absences? Daniel Moi, Ali Hassan Mwinyi, Cleopa Msuya, Abdoulaye Wade, Abdou Diouf, Yakubu Gowon weren't there. I'm surprised about Mwinyi who took part to Kaunda's 95th birthday just a gew months ago. Just personal reasons or something is up?

No,there are many versions of the Tank Man photo. The most used one was taken by AP Jeff Widener. Stuart Franklin and Charlie Cole were on the same balcony. Cole was able to retrieve the roll of film with the photos though the Chinese government (then led by late Comrade Li Peng) forced him to destroy other two rolls. There is also video footage of the event by ABC cameraman Willie Phua.
