It seems it is a Daily Double for me in the AODP. But I go down in Deathrace. EDIT: No, McIntyre died yesterday and Islam today. Unlucky. -
A Man and a Woman, The Desert of Tartars, Z, The Conformist, Amour just to name few. Guy is a legend in France and Italy.

Actually I picked him because articles on his 79th birthday sounded a bit like obituaries.
-
First big wrestling death of the year.
-
I like to imagine him going to the beach with a t-shirt with "Bow to the SEER" written on it, molesting ladies and bullying kids. Maybe I am heavy on drugs and did not reckon.

Ah! Three in the same moment, i was ninja'd twice!

Guardian Obit.

The Seer is said to be recovering well and chanting Vedas in his celeastial voice. Meanwhile I want to share this pic of the Man in his 70s. welcoming Indira Gandhi at the Mutt.

Balbir has been hospitalized for 90 days, 45 spent in ICU. Currently he needs continuous assistance by machine to breathe and there are no plans for him to be discharged. He celebrated his 95th birthday (Wiki date is wrong) on December 31, but no photos of him are shown. Wish my father could last as long as he did.

Congrats! A good underdog story.
-
His lungs are full of liquid and when they tried to drain them it immediately led to kidney failure so they had to suspend. Unless a miracle happens he won't get out alive from this.

Tyler Trent is a hit for many here. I mantain an abundant one-point lead.
-
I did not pick Capon because I did not think he would obit. I did not even verify if he had a Wiki page... dammit.
-
The latest on Swami. Currently stable, on oxygen and a ventilator is ready in the Mutt to keep him on life support.

Here we go. Drollercoaster: 1)Andrew McGahan (J): he's Australian, so coverage is guaranteed, no? 2)Kerri Parker 3)Samu: wrestlers tend to die young... 4)Bill Heine: Barely alive at the end of this year, running out of life expectancy. 5)John McCririck: For how bad he looks 6)Harry Reid: Has been very quiet lately. 7)Johnny Clegg: Seems to be holding his own, but still it is pancan. 8)Leah Bracknell: Will survive the year 9)Fernando Ricksen: Did not want to miss him 10)Kathleen Blanco: Dead cert 11)Steffan Lewis: Terminal, danger not immediate, but who knows. 12)Beth Chapman: Came in as a sub for Ricketts. Thoughts and opinions on the death list 2019
drol replied to The Mad Hatter's topic in DeathList Forum
Not to criticize, but the list is rather mediocre. Only excellent new name is Bob Hawke. Stiller and Britton are decent, Greenspan, Walters, Belafonte, Redgrave, Poitier, Asner, Laine, King, Turner, MacGowan, Baker are all wasted picks. -
Richard Overton is actually dead, Deathray.
-
That makes two of us! But I also missed (completely forgotten) Michael Robinson which is even worse.

Kahn's death, which occurred on 31 December, was not announced until the morning of January 1st, three hours and a half ago. Kahn was widely believed to be alive after midnight UK time so I invoke the RHME, which would give me 732 points.

Sorry Windsor but number 20 Roberto Suazo Cordova has already died.

Official statement by Siddaganga Mutt. Though its title is "Docs quash rumours about Siddaganga seer's health" article then confirms everything we knew. Swami developed lung infection on Saturday and suffered respiratory crises on Saturday night; his condition deteriorated on Sunday, but now is stable and will recover in a week (another article) according to them. Actually politicians and monks may not know how to manage the situation as hundreds of people have reached the Mutt yesterday, they probably released the statement to calm them. Remember how many people died for Karunanidhi? This will be the same sooner or later. Indian are not so civil... they can't accept their leaders are fucking human. He is fucking 111, that's futile medical care!
