Buchi Emecheta?!

He could die this year, he could go on two years. He was never a dead cert. Dead certs on the list are Christie, Downie, Bracknell, Michael and they still could make the year (well, not all of them for sure...)
-
Till now hits were random, so I guess the best period for DL has yet to come.
-
Finally.

Eritrean-Italian singer Lara Saint-Paul is very very ill. She is apparently losing her battle against cancer and may not pass the year. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lara_Saint_Paul http://www.tgcom24.mediaset.it/spettacolo/lara-saint-paul-appello-disperato-sto-male-aiutatemi-_3053498-201702a.shtml Obviously she won't get any QO. But I read about her on the newspaper today, so it must be quite serious (it's not the Daily Mail).

We could see through Wilhelm Rontgen's body this day 94 yeas ago.

Still no obits at all. Come on, guys, this is not funny.
-
I'm starting to think I will die before him.
-
Well, I'm still in the top ten, but struggling to remain. Next update I will probably not be in.

Fall Gelb.

And Tzvetan Todorov? Zygmunt Bauman?
-
Steve Sumner has still a possibility. He was a football legend in New Zealand.

The type of divorce John Wetton and A. A. Gill knew very well.
-
It's true. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10212200832006465&id=1546943160 But still no obits. Fucking strange.
-
Yes, he's Bret's big brother, a decent wrestler and all. I can see a Dailymail article lamenting yet another "big wrestling death", but nothing more.
-
Oh, irony! I was watching that right now. A dead cert, but will he obit?
-
He's definitely a big name. He has not been picked for the DDP but I'd be shocked if he does not obit.
-
As reported elsewhere, Svend Asmussen has died.
-
He won't die this year. Too early, definitely.

Belgian road bicycle racer Serge Baguet has died aged 47, following a long illness. http://sport24.lefigaro.fr/cyclisme/fil-info/deces-de-serge-baguet-845281

Who Do You Consider "famous For Being Ill"?
drol replied to msc's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Not only that. Tracy McGiffin would have obited even if she was not ill, but she was not famous on their own. I divide this picks into two categories: 1)Only famous for being ill and dying (Suisala, Magill, Aspin, Sims, many others) 2)Fringes of Fame (McGiffin, for example) -
Steve Hewlett got married as he only has weeks to live. And if he really got married we know how this is going to end. http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/radio-4s-steve-hewlett-marries-9774224

Weren't you the one that said Christie and Downie were more famous for being ill than their actual occupations? Nope. That was Biblio (https://forums.deathlist.net/topic/9043-thoughts-on-the-2017-list/?p=295166) and anyway he was referring to the official Deathlist and not to the DDP. Christie, Downie, Bracknell are OBVIOUSLY famous on their own, the question was if they were famous enough for the official DL.
-
Loughlin, Suisala, Aspin, Magill, Sims, McGiffin, Elias, Zandvliet are NOT famous. All vault material. And we all know that.
-
Suisala is NOT famous and we know it. Kincaid's fame is borderline, but oh, stop it, we all know who is famous on his own and who is not.
