Well, deaths come in waves usually. And well, the first few months of 2020 have been very fruitful, so eventually it was bound to slow down at some point (I do think there will be a May hit though). So I imagine that between May and September will only have a couple of hits, but around October another wave will hit. At least, that’s what I think.

While I don’t really take issue with any of the names that ended up being rejected this year, I will say it is a tad bit annoying that 8/15 rejected names for me has died thus far whereas only 7/40 names on my actual list became hits. (Although for Frierson, Genson, and Sutherland, not sure any of the obits would’ve counted for them anyways, the first two only seeming to stay as local news, the latter has his death articles read as FFBI for the most part).

Will admit a big part of why I ended up picking Blackmore was due to my annoyance of subbing Paul Van Zandvliet a few years back, which costed me a top ten placement. So it’s nice to see that thinking pay off (even though he does seem to be a nice chap). It’s going to be interesting to see how my team ends up doing, all I’m really hoping for is my best performance to date right now...
