Wikipedia has it updated that his cause of death wasn’t coronavirus but rather due to COPD. Unless it was a troll who changed it...

So I dropped Vialli after the in remission news in all of the pools I’m in and replaced him with Christophe in all the pools. Look like I made the right call there cause even if he does die this year, Christophe is still worth more points than Vialli at death.
-
Just realized that Le Fígaro is an acceptable source too, and here it is. Christophe’s death is important for 2 matches. For one, Death Impends now has a whopping 9 point lead against Banana, who has basically already conceded his match against him. Though there’s still time yet for a comeback. Meanwhile, DeathByArsenic has Christophe as their joker, so he now takes a 3 point lead against Torva. Many coronavirus picks are looking less likely now, and as such there’s a good chance many of the matches will remain stagnant. Although it ain’t over till it’s over... 1. Clorox vs Deadsox 9 - 9 2. Sir Creep vs msc 0 - 6 3. Book vs JiroemonKimura 0 - 10 4. Chorizo vs Quim Reaper 9 - 0 5. Grim vs Grobler 3 - 0 6. DeathByArsenic vs Torva 9 - 6 7. An Fear Bag vs YoungWillz 6 - 6 8. Banana vs Death Impends 0 - 9

I’m aware that Christophe is dead, but he’s going to need either Le Monde or something from an English newspaper to count for the two people who picked him in the cup

Yeah, looking like it’ll end depending on how long Leon Spinks takes at this rate...

Now UK 1: 8/30 Now UK 2: 7/30 Now UK 3: 6/30 Now UK 4: 4/32 Now UK 5: 4/30 As you can see, the UK pop charts aren’t really my strong suit. Though annoyingly, there were songs that I recognized the artist but didn’t recognize the song itself... -
I wonder if needed to die right after those original articles came out to get a QO? So far he’s getting nothing besides sources around the Chicago area, which isn’t really good for anything...

Who will win the 2020 US Presidential Election?

Biden’s legislative record is anything but solid, no offense. He’s going to try avoid discussing that at all costs cause of how bad it is... -
Ed Genson should inch me closer to Jiroemon if/when a QO comes

This rule has been long established, and that rule will stay.

Yeah, unfortunately subs won’t be subbed in at this point considering how late her death was even reported, let alone found out. Sorry, them the rules.

Well, even the best cup players have their awful months. Just ask Spade in February 2018, for example. Not every cup month turns out to be a banger. Still, there’s still time yet for a potential cup comeback...

It’s one thing to state your opinion. It’s another to reply to basically every single post to say the same opinion over and over again. And that’s exactly what’s happening. And now you just revert to ad hominem attacks. My post btw wasn’t a response to Kenny, it was a response to those saying Biden has it in the bag when that isn’t necessarily the case. -

Yep, you just found my biggest weakness. Thinking that I am better than literally any other person on the forum while I’m still in education. Congratulations on that, I shall forever be banished from the forums now. I hope you enjoy a cookie now for making me realize this absolute fact. -

Yeah, the senate map in 2018 isn’t an indicator of how well Trump will do in 2020. But one thing I think a lot of people are forgetting about Trump is that even with all of his flaws (and believe me, he has many), one of the few things that he’s actually good at is campaigning. Remember back in 2016, Trump was able to run to the left of Clinton on some issues, and with his record in the senate, I think Trump could do that again. Plus, Trump really knows how to play dirty politics, and whether you like it or not, he might be able to find a way to make Biden look bad. Having said that, given his handling of the crisis Biden could easily win base on Trump’s handling of the crisis and the fact that many folk want to return to the Obama era. But don’t think this will be a landslide for either candidate barring some major changes in the next 7 months or so... -

I absolutely despise the idea that voting for third party is a vote for Trump. People need to earn their votes, and that was really why Clinton lost. She didn’t do enough to earn the votes of those who voted for someone else or stayed home. Also, the Republican Party in general is basically lock step with trump at this point. He’s consistently received around 90 - 95% of republican support, so very few Republicans (if any) would even consider voting for Biden. If Biden can actually convince voters that he cares about them and he doesn’t sound like the cognitive decline he usually does in public, then he could certainly win. Hell, I think the best strategy for him is to stay out of the public eye as much as possible. But there’s no guarantee that it’ll work, especially since Republicans know how to play dirty politics extremely well. -

Btw, if I had to choose between Biden and Trump it would be Biden, but I’m nowhere confident enough to even say he has more than a 50/50 shot at winning at this point. In fact, if the coronavirus crisis didn’t happen, Trump would be a massive favorite to win.
