Confirmed now. Awaiting the QO now...

Would’ve been amazed if he was still here in 2019, but that’s one of the two slam dunks not on my team I currently have for next year so far. Well, had in Jones case...

No.

Perfectly follows suit off of any article about Marilyn Manson tbh...

Collapses on stage.

I think he and Willie Nelson should have serious consideration for the deathlist next year...

It’s an update, mainly because I don’t expect many more deaths from my 2018 squad this year. All my survivors from 2017 are still breathing today too (turned out that only lasted another 3 days). 2017: Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, Rick Davies, Greg Gilbert, Heidi Loughlin, Simon Ricketts (5/20) 2018: Leah Bracknell, John Cocks, Stuart Fraser, Greg Gilbert, Clive James, Linda Nolan, Fernando Ricksen, Marieke Vervoort (8/20)

The Rolling Probabilistic Ddp Scoreboard
Joey Russ replied to gcreptile's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I think 2018 is going to be an outlier in the grand scheme of things. I think almost every player had a team that looked much better on paper than how they’re actually doing now, whether it’s the mentioned fact that nearly everyone chose a poor joker to begin and some not obiting but also certain picks hanging on for much longer than expected (McCain, Bracknell, Stiles, etc) as well as picks that now look much weaker than they did at the beginning of the year, particularly Tiffany Youngs and Greg Gilbert. I feel that all of this threw most people off guard. I think next year people will score much higher because there are certain lessons that I think we can all learn from this year such as knowing that it may not be the best idea to joker someone for potential unnatural points next year (plus local obits should be coming back, so there’s that as well)... -
Aretha won easily. Time to close this poll.

DL Status Updates: Statements, Obsevations & Verbal Tennis
Joey Russ replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
So, my parents made me go to a welcome back to school dance today. It was a terrible experience for me. The music was super loud and it’s the modern pop music I really dislike. Worst part about though was that because of my autism, I felt very sensitive throughout the entire dance. Didn’t really get to talk to anyone either... -
I just discovered that one of the names I had on my longlist that seemed fucked but obit chances were very slim, Ryan Frayne, the founder of Windcatcher who also appeared on Shark Tank died back in June with no QO of note.

If they have the right to moan that she didn’t make the list somewhere, it’s the Crowdsource list because she just didn’t make that list.
-
What’s that? Another banter thread?
-
Reunited with John Travolta for the 40th anniversary of Grease, and they both look great. I’d probably leave both of them off the list for years to come...

At the time, those health woes were considered rumors and she became much more active and said that she didn’t have pancan while admitting to being in poor health, and that was back in 2011. Of course, it turned out she did have pancreatic cancer, ie the slow burning one.

What about Mark E Smith?

Yes, in another thread. But you’re fine posting it here too...

Babe Ruth took his last swing 70 years ago today aged 53.

I have Aretha here...

Aretha is sadly a hit for me here. That does mean my rejection/replacement death rate is now equal...

There’s a shakeup coming with Aretha’s death...

Not unexpected but a very sad loss nonetheless.
