Just noticed that 6 out of my 7 hits so far we’re people in sports. 3 wrestlers (Vader, Cappotelli, Brown), a boxer (Francis), someone in football (Wilkins), and someone in American football (Clark). Bain was the only hit of mine that wasn’t athlete so far...

Now here's something interesting to think about. Since none of us were able to play the DDP all 20 years, I wonder that what picks from those years would you consider a typical you pick. In other words, what people that were picked that year were fascinating enough to you that you'd probably pick if they announced their illness today and not just because they're worth a lot of points? Thank you. Definitely a way to add a bit of class to my squad. However, having a look at my squad, I don’t think that I’ll be getting a lot more hits as most of my team seem to either be too healthy or they seem more like a 2019 hit than 2018. And of course the frauds/people who aren’t ill that made the final cut (ie Lorimer, West, etc)...

Oliver Dragojevic is a 13 point solo for me. Will put me above Gerard Tierney temporarily in 2nd place...

I rue my luck on here. I removed Oliver Dragojevic from my team on the assumption that he was in remission and that he wouldn’t have received a QO. Now he’s dead and has received a QO. Of course this would happen. On a more positive note, congrats to msc for having one of his transfers in be successful...

Shit, I removed him from death by numbers cause I thought he wouldn’t obit and I assumed he was in remission. On the bright side, my B Team finally has a hit and I picked him for Alt Obits...

Two people on my current team (both very obvious names) I’ve excluded as I don’t expect them to make 2019, but they’d almost certainly make my lineup if they do. Haven’t bothered with making a prospective B Team yet, but I do plan on making it a lot more interesting (and hopefully at least one hit on it next year) than last time...

I just did a "if you had to pick 20 names today" type thing, and I definitely don't feel satisfied with how the team looks. I'm just hoping better names will show up in the next 5 months and the good names that do fit my team don't die during that time (not going to happen lol)...
