If that Vervoort update means anything it probably means the race has shifted largely into the hands of those who didn't pick her (Pan Breed, Pity Da Foolz, etc) and those who didn't joker her (Droller Coaster, To Kill A Gabor Sister, etc). So that probably mean I'm out of the running along with many others who looked like contenders in the beginning, but a top ten spot is still very plausible (and it's only my second year in this anyways, so I still have a lot time to improve my craft)...

Ahem, so Vervoort is the happiest that she has been in a long time. While things could change within the next six months, I think that article from a credible source says enough about her will to live. So I guess msc and others who didn't pick her have the right to mock everyone who picked her, especially those who foolishly jokered her... EDIT: I’ve shamelessly picked her on the poker tourney anyways...

Haven’t been doing a lot of research throughout this year. Most of it has been in small chunks about once every 2 - 3 weeks or so, but despite that, I already found a few off forum people that could easily be on my 2019 lineup if they make it. I think I might try the five point maxim next year on someone that fascinates me, if they make it of course...

Well, it does also kind of depends on what you follow as well. Pretty sure racing fans will recognize Stirling Moss much more easily than Lee Miller. Similarly, punk/new wave fans will know Mark E Smith a lot better than her. And no way she’s bigger than Mel Brooks, or even Joni Mitchell tbh...
