Good job msc. You are missing a couple of points though: Morgan Tsvangirai gets two more points for being a leader. While Mugabe technically led the country for his entire dictatorship, Tsvangirai's four years as prime minister (despite not really doing anything for those four years) is good enough for me. When I did the bonus for Spade's team, it's for any past year, so since Rev Graham was on his 2014 team, those who picked him gets another point or two if they jokered him. Dean Francis did not make the drop 40, so there's three points that shouldn't be there for them. And I forgot to give you the extra points for each particular spot. Let me work on these few errors and I'll give you the current total of points (there's a few other things that I could change, but I'll let those slide)...

Yeah, my drummers theme team was one that got the wooden spoon last year. So far, it looks like my counterculture theme team looked like it'll score 0 as well. If only Hugh Hefner and Charles Manson made the starting...

As I mentioned in the thread for Marieke Vervoort, I did wonder that if she doesn't die this like many of us expected to, is there a way for those of us who jokered her to possibly win it? I think I found some ways that people could potentially win it without her. First, here's the scoreline for 15/16 teams (one would require a bunch of gambles to work to be a contender imo) I made for predictions for if we assume that she doesn't die with having my other assumptions remain the same (minus Satoru Anzaki, who I don't think will obit at this point): I then did some other team analysis to show what might be the most practical route for any of these teams to win (though some routes are more likely than others imo). Almost all picks were fair game, though there were a few picks such as Colin Butts and Matt Cappotelli that I assume will die and obit regardless of these scenarios: Maybe I'm overanalyzing a bit, but I mainly did this to show you that Marieke Vervoort may not be as crucial as you think she is. So don't give up hope if you think you're out of the running because she's not going to die this year...

If she doesn't die this year, while that would probably eliminate my chances of winning this year, I won't feel too bad since so many people also jumped on the Vervoort train and I will probably have a strong DDP performance regardless of whether she dies or not. Of course, it will be a lesson for me on who would potentially make a better joker next year... EDIT: Maybe she's not as crucial as many see her. I may try some scoring experiments in a few hours to see if my thought process is correct...

The 2017 list is finally ahead of the 2018 list, as I expected truthfully. But there's definitely a good batch of people that I wouldn't be writing Christmas cards to just yet...
