I thought he said months ago that he wasn’t going to have chemo again if it returns, so it might be the journalists falsely reading between the lines. That said, I still think he has a few months and likely won’t affect the outcome of our game. He won’t see 2019, and even if he did see 2019, I doubt the committee would pick him anyways...

Meanwhile, mine and Grim’s rematch is still quite close at 6 - 6 currently. I think for me, my best bets to break the tie are Stefansson and Da-Ren while Grim’s best bet are Obayashi and Ted Mack. But knowing my luck, it’ll be one of the latter who will break the tie and not the former...

I’m a little surprised that he’s dead, but that’s more of the the fact that he lasted so long with ALS. His cultural presence is undeniable, that’s for sure. RIP.
