Though I posted On The Waterfront way too early in the film clean sweeps thread since a major cast member is still alive, I would still like to bring up someone who I don’t know whether he’s dead or alive, and that’s Ben Wagner. He played an important character in that film, yet I can’t seem to find any evidence that he’s still alive or that he has died. Could someone help me with that one?

Whoops. Wasn’t showing on the IMDB page for me for some reason, and I thought I already clicked on all the articles that Wikipedia shows, but I missed her apparently. Tbf, I am not feeling the greatest today, so that might’ve been part of the reason I missed her...

I thought that On The Waterfront would be quite close to a clean sweep. Only two actors, both uncredited, are alive as far as I can tell, Katherine MacGregor and Nehemiah Persoff. Though there is another person who I have no idea on whether they’re alive or dead, and that’s Ben Wagner, who played Joey Doyle. I assume that he’s dead, but does anyone have any evidence that we can be certain that he’s dead?

So, I’m currently leading by almost 200 points, with Jose Jose and Leah Bracknell being the best bets to increase my lead. But I don’t think I’ll be the winner in the end tbh...
