And the death of Rayya Elias shows why you shouldn't make your team before the first DDP update. She wouldn't have scored you points anyhow if you did make your team now...

You must come up with 50 people from the list of jokers in the statistics thread. That's 259 people in total, as Hollingworth and Soares are ineligible due to death (why would I give you them?). The list is found here: https://forums.deathlist.net/topic/8966-statistics/page-3#entry292790 They can either be put on this thread or PM'd personally to me. You can come up with up to 5 subs Each person is worth one point. Nominate five of them as your jokers. Those people will gain double points. So for people who are wondering how they could possibly win, they are heavily reliant on bonus points. However, the vast majority of the bonus points are in fact hidden, and will be revealed as people score those bonuses. Many of them are different from the Hartlepool, so that'll be where the fun will be. I will reveal six of those bonus points besides the joker bonus for those five since it's required to compete. Those bonuses are: 1. If those people who are jokers are also unique DDP picks, they'll gain an extra 3 points 2. If those people who are jokers made the drop 40, they'll gain an extra 3 points 3. If those people who are jokers die unnaturally, they'll gain an additional 3 points 4. If those people die on the 13th of the month, they gain an extra 2 points 5. If they die on their birthday, 5 more bonus points will be given to them 6. There are random number of spots that have a total of two bonus points instead of one. Which numbers they are, however, will have to be hidden until they are scored. Because I know the hidden bonus points and you don't, I'm going to be fair and not compete the first time. I'll probably join the second time when the vast majority of those points should be revealed. You have until the 28th of January at midnight GMT to enter. Anyways, enjoy. Or not.

So in the end, there was only one more hit after the death of King Michael, Rose Marie. Really a one pointer for the four people who picked her, with the top 2 both picking her as well, so that doesn't change the person in the lead. There are a couple of end of the year bonuses as well. The first bonus is that if you were in last place, you get to gain ten points. In this case, it's none other than our beloved Cat O'Falk (welcome back btw), who now goes from -1 points to 9 points in total. The next two bonuses aren't so friendly. The first of those bonuses is the unlucky 13 bonus. In this bonus, the person who is in 13th place gets to lose 5 points and fall back behind. In this case, the unlucky 13 bonus goes to none other than your own host, Joey Russ, who randomized team did him no good at all, and in fact, it did a poor enough of a job to make me lose 5 points. Curses. The other unlucky bonus is that you lose two points if you gained the most hits. After counting the hit number for each team, the teams with the most hits were Death Impends and CaptainChorizo, who had a total of 24 hits. However, due to the fact that they have a large enough of a lead over everyone else, this has no effect to the scoreboard at all... So with that in mind, I would like to congratulate Death Impends on winning the first annual Joker's Dead Pool with 113 points. As it turned out, King Michael was the decisive hit, as he was the only one who jokered him, which brought Death Impends a lot of points. Coming in a very close second is CaptainChorizo, who was only one point behind even though he got a lot of great hits this year. The next closest is 9 points behind, which I congratulate RadGuy in getting 103 points in total and winning third place.
