Right, excluding myself cause I'm not that selfish, here are the teams I will be watching out for next year: The Living End/Thomas Jefferson Survives - obviously The Love Boat - Thinking a top three placing is very likely for him next year even without seeing his team Golden Slumbers - The one most likely up for the title defense, and I suspect he'll have a strong team at that Still Life - Most improved for 2017, and I think he'll have a stronger team in 2018 tbh Pan Breed - Think he'll improve after his mistakes for 2017 Shaun of the Dead 69 - Think he'll have a major improvement next year Droller Coaster - Same as above Heading Nowhere - As will he Crossing The Styx - Not on this forum, but is always consistent with his team, so their always one to watch To Kill A Gabor Sister - He doubts himself, but I don't think his team will be as bad as he thinks

I will be there to applaud when your shadow team kicks everyone else's butts.

YOU CAN NOT BE SERIOUS!!!!

Took one final look at my teams for next year, and then I sent them now. I'm very excited for my second year of this yet quite nervous. And once again, thank you for all your hard work Spade for next year. Without you, the DDP might not be around today, but it's certainly good to see that it's still going now.

(Continuing the team sweepstakes) I’m gonna guess around 520 or so.

Glad to see you back Rotten Ali.

So How's Your 2018 Shortlist Looking?
Joey Russ replied to Joey Russ's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I’ll admit, there is one person I put on my B Team this year solely for the fact of trying to save someone potentially from the list of the lost. I have a couple of risky obits and drop 40 certs in there as well. I’m interested in seeing how well it does... EDIT: Also got my main they reek of fraud in there as well... -
Of course you wouldn't! You!

So How's Your 2018 Shortlist Looking?
Joey Russ replied to Joey Russ's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I think... I think I know my lineup for both teams now. I'm still going to wait until tomorrow to send in the final list in case I suddenly make a last minute change, but I think I got the teams ready, and definitely will be satisfied with whatever place I get in the DDP next year. I'm probably not going to win, but I think a top ten performance is very plausible next year... -
Other notable complaints: "Why did they not put the most famous cowboy from Oklahoma on the list?" "Oh, it's Javier Perez de Cuellar again." "I'm sorry, but I completely forgot to mention this person for the deathlist, so they unfortunately have a miss." And much, much, more...

I suspect that the committee has already done there meeting for this year, so I think that any new possibilities made are probably not gonna be of any use...

Two hours left for anyone who wants to send a list in...

DL Status Updates: Statements, Obsevations & Verbal Tennis
Joey Russ replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I tried to log on to my old laggy computer where I logged on the Deathlisters chat in hopes that I could log on to my account, only to hit a screen that it's stuck on before I could even open Chrome. Drats. I tried logging on to this computer for the chat, but it says that it requires a password, which I have no memory. I also apparently haven't saved an email on there so I could check the password. Does anyone remember the password to this chat? Please and thank you. -

Oh wait, I'm on a different computer now, that's why I'm not logged in. Can you add me to the chat Death Impends? -

I forgot my login to that and can't seem to find a way to make a new account for some reason... EDIT: I think I figured it out now. -
Just revisited this, and my playing it way too safe because I wanted to be more "deathlisty" only produced 14/50...

DL Status Updates: Statements, Obsevations & Verbal Tennis
Joey Russ replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
From my research, he used xat last year after the other chat that was created was deleted or abandoned due to some random people (not morbidkid for once) that we don't know were talking about some nasty stuff or something... -

FTFY, and IIRC, he used another chat website last time to discuss the picks. Don't know which one though... -
In simpler terms, I'm just trying to avoid repeats. But I'm not quite sure how to approach that in the off chance someone on the main team dies before the first...
-
Quick question, since I'm sending both a main team and B team tomorrow, is it okay that I label the list 1 - 40 and distinguish which team is which in order to potentially avoid repeats on both teams?
-
Yep, we are totally doing that, it's not me being a slightly obsessive poster, honest.
-
I'm just doing it cause I like competition. The more the merrier as they say...

Ah, I knew I had forgotten someone on deathrace. Oh well, that's life for you...
