If I'm honest, Vervoort doesn't really fall into deathlisty territory. Part of the reason she is well known is because participated in the Olympics for the disabled, which is a part of her illness. They don't put people on for solely being likely to die, and while she's not a FFBI type, she still is just someone who became famous partly because of her illness. So no, she isn't deathlisty at all, imo of course...

I recognized that name from the list, but I hadn't checked on him for a while since I assumed he would be useless for the DDP (though I might've considered him for deathrace). The fact that his death wasn't publicized till over a month after he has passed confirms my suspicion that he wouldn't receive a QO. Of course, now that I said that, Mr Mirror dude will write an obituary to mess with us...

I keep pondering whether to send my deathrace team now due to a potential PM clog of being overfilled with entries and potentially miss a sure fire hit deathrace hit or send it later and risk the potential of having to make a public team, therefore eliminating a few people from my prospective line up. I do, however, believe that I got a strong deathrace team for next year, and while I may not win, it'll certainly have at least a fighting chance, unless a ton of people decides to leave before the starting line...

People in this situation are almost always optimistic. I wouldn't take too much from her family tbh...

It's truly unbelievable when Nobel Prize winners, Academy Award nominees, and reigning monarchs with a long ruling span doesn't receive a QO while someone who is only known for being in their last days does...
