It's not confusing at all. It's just that you are being a dumbass at the moment. He's dead. It's confirmed by his family, there's no way he's still alive. The "false" report was very similar to the false report earlier, and it's not one of the most reliable sources out there. Please don't look at one source and get your facts there...

That looks like the same reports that happened after the LAPD incident and not a new incident. Besides, why would his family lie about his death when they announced it?

That was a classic, not because it was only posted by the national enquirer, because it wasn't, but it was confirmed by some family members and so many top dead poolers picked him for 2014. Of course, as of this post, he's currently still alive...

Unfortunately, his obit is unlikely imo. Not even his wikipedia page is edited to say he's dead. That, and the largest mass shooting in modern american history and Tom Petty's death make any chance of his obit diminished...

In all seriousness though, I knew he was gone by the time I woke up. Being taken off life support after being unconscious for while is pretty sad, especially since he wasn't as heavy on drugs as other people. Really sad way to go. RIP.

Well, his death reportedly was confirmed by the LAPD, but TMZ and other sources are saying he's still alive, and the LAPD themselves confirmed he's still alive and are not part of his investigation.

A couple things before people continue to make final conclusions: A. I can't find the article cause for some reason it links back to this page. That's more of a problem with the link, as Death Impends said but... B. We haven't seen him in a public since July, so we don't know if he's really doing that well C. Brain cancer can still strike at any time, so even if he is doing well at the moment, he could easily deteriorate quickly D. Remember, David Bowie released an album, and he died two days afterwards, so he could easily follow suit... So, we can't say he'll definitely survive the year until it's over. While it wouldn't surprise at this point, you're really underestimating brain cancer right now...
