Hm, he's 69 at the moment, and his family are showing some concern. I don't think he'll be here in a few years tbh, he's not the guy you'd expect to make old bones.
-
It'll much more funnier if he does die and become the 15th death since no one could vote for him...
-
I took a photo of the moment when 4 years are tied for the record, so I will post it as a piece of time before a new record is likely...
-
Yeah, cause it's a U.K. site...
-
Just waiting to see all the regulars waking up to this...
-
So hit number 14 on this list came one day before hit number 14 in 2003. I just noticed that...
-
Seriously, this has to be the best streak of hits since 2002. Two dead on Monday, a quiet yesterday, and Hugh Hefner is now gone.
-
That's it this year. Sorry to be a party pooper.
-
Ah, I placed Hugh Hefner way too high. Any chance of me making a comeback has now been completely diminished...
-
Well, if no one else dies, it'll be a massive disappointment to this list. BBC obit by the way...
-
And just like that, the first person off the list to die was the oldest person on the list, Hugh Hefner. So who's next? I say Bob Fass.
-
Not saying it's definitive, but I think we may have our top 5 in the end now. A 15 point gap between the B Team and Buckets of Blood...
-
Next time post here. Oh, and this isn't the first time that particular site mentioned us...
-
Agreed. It really gives a lot more diversity and a little more forgiving if one of your punts fails. Plus, you can put a deadpooling favorite on there...
-
I assumed he was misunderstanding drol's saracastic post...

Dude, is everything okay? This sounds way too harsh for you even. You're really heading into Zorders territory, so I would suggest that you stop before the mods decide to permaban you.

Shouldn't this thread be moved to the extra curricular section of the forum?

I don't know if internationally is the right word, I think across Europe is probably more accurate since none of the American posters who posted so far had recognized him. But I'm not doubting whether he's famous enough for his own thread anymore... Ah, now I have heard of the Smiths and listened to their music (call me a twat, I dare you). Just wondering which cover he's on...
-
Tbf, I checked his Wikipedia page before I made that post, and it wasn't that big. Clearly there's stuff I need to catch up on...
-
Who is this guy? I never heard of him, and he likely doesn't deserve his own thread...

I know people don't like seeing a lot of polls, but I think this will be a good food for thought. Plus, it's not another one of those pointless celebrity with one common trait poll (which unless it's Megrahi vs Robin Gibb, it's going to be shit). This is more because I am seeing people bringing up the question of whether 2017 is going to be bigger than 2016, and I could see arguments going both ways. Personally, I think that 2017 won't be bigger than 2016 due to the quality of the names in 2016 that 2017 lacks (not saying 2017 doesn't have quality, it just that it doesn't have the same quality of names as 2016, if you know what I mean). However, I do think these two years is only the start of an even bigger celebrity death epidemic that'll last decades. Actually, people could argue that it started back in 2012 even...

Will 2017 Be a Bigger Year In Deaths Than 2016?

I'm also upset that he forgot about Harry Dean Stanton and Dick Gregory...
