It might give more power on TJS than anyone else imo. If Booth and Michael both die, that'll put him at 2 points above DQSBP if both Greg Gilbert and Simon Ricketts live. I think we're close to the climax, and we'll go to see what will turn out to be an amazing competition...

Life lesson: never underestimate a DQSBP pick. If they pick him, then they're probably a goner, as this cased turned out to be...

Ah, FFS...

Welp, I've found my guaranteed hit joker now. I'm gonna be a superstar in the 2018 DDP.

David Lyle, former CEO of The National Geographic Channel, has died aged 67.

I think McCain is making it very clear that if the bill isn't bipartisan, he's not going to vote for it. I do think a bipartisan health care bill will probably be the best option for now at least...

Fuck, I really must be suffering from Alzheimer's...

Thinking of one person, but forgetting about the other due to a misspelling. I must be suffering from Alzheimer's...

Hmm, let me give what I originally thought with the hits so far: Mary Tyler Moore: I thought she was a bad pick, goes to show that people you think are bad picks may not be bad picks after all Joost van der Westhuizen: He was reaching the point that ALS usually gets sports people, so he could kind of be viewed as a cert, but not necessarily since we had people like Stephen Hawking still alive after 50 years of diagnosis David Rockefeller: Very old, his death wasn't surprising at all Ian Brady: A case of whether he was lying about his illness or telling the truth about it. Turns out he was telling the truth in the end John Noakes: Had Alzheimer's for a while, wasn't surprising Peter Sallis: Was in a retirement home for the last couple of years, surprised he wasn't dead earlier Errol Christie: A dead cert from the beginning, though the other dead certs are somehow still alive Glen Campbell: More of a cert than John Noakes imo, but still wasn't guaranteed Bruce Forsyth: Kind of a cert, had a nasty aneurysm 2 years ago, and may be one of the deciding hits for the DDP Jerry Lewis: I thought he would become another bedblocker Jake LaMotta: How did he last so long? He should've been dead years ago. I'll give my thoughts on the surviving candidates later...

Will he be shock death #1 for the remainder of the year?
-
So he was lying about his health in the 12th death of 2017 thread. God damn it...
-
Wait, he was on the list this year?
-
Wait, does that hint in potentially more Star Wars prequels? NOOOOOO....
-
Well, I think he can make it to the drop 40, actually. It's only September, so enough forum mentions in the last 3 months could push him to be in the drop 40. It's not like Mario Soares, where we only knew of his illness in the last ten days in the year or so...

I don't doubt she wouldn't have lasted more than 5 years with glioblastoma, but despite that grim prognosis, she could've spent more time with her children had she went with chemo instead of giving birth to a child that wouldn't have lived longer anyways. That what really annoys me.

LaMotta also went, meaning two list of the missed in one week.

You might want to check in with the doctor. You might be suffering from Alzheimer's disease...

You do realize that not everyone is voting seriously, right?

Reading Death Impends post in the DDP thread gave me this idea. These people are people we considered almost certain to die, but so far none of them have died. Let's review each of these people. Tony Booth has so many ailments that I'm not sure how he is still alive. He somehow still is hanging on despite being ill for a very long time. Leah Bracknell has lung cancer, and the most recent updates seem to be sounding grim. That said, I think her use of marijuana will make her hang on at least a little longer. Gord Downie has reached past the average life expectancy for gliobstama, but so far he looks okay in social media. King Michael, despite reports that he was getting frailer by the day LAST SUMMER, he still seems to be alive. That last update, though, is really sounding like his time is coming up. Then we have Errol Christie, the boxer who has outlived his life expectancy, and a lack of updates doesn't really give us any hints on how he is really doing. The poll may not upload, given my past experiences of trying to upload polls, but I think a debate between which of the 5 people we considered super likely to go goes first seems like a good idea. Personally, I think King Michael will die first, but that's just me.

There is no we. Only them...

I'm personally amazed that I got three more hits in the silent generation than the GI Generation. I think they (silent generation) could legitimately be all dead before the last of my GI Generation...
