Just because you have really good genes doesn't mean that they will survive for five years. Yes he has a mother who's still alive today, but his father died at the age of 70, so he could have a mix of both genes. Also considering that glioblastoma is a very dangerous form of cancer means that he's likely not going to last the next two years. I'm not saying it's impossible, I just saying that it's probably not going to happen...

He wasn't picked by anyone...

I'm assuming it's Cat O'Falk and rockhopperpenguin.

Word oldest person from Poland dead at 111. Probably the next one without a qualifying obit, though I don't think they were selected anywhere apart from maybe Deathray's list of centenarians...

Post of the year for me so far...

His voice is like hearing nails on a chalkboard, only worse...

Not that I enjoy their music by any means (I really don't like them at all), but that is really a shock.

Unfortunately? Wouldn't he be greatful to come back to congress? EDIT: Well this is embarrassing, misread something again. This is not my day, is it...

I thought it was all 1936 births in general. Damn, I'm really having an embarrassing day today, aren't I... Buddy Guy in place of the pope then...
-
Even if he does survive the year, he is nowhere as notable as John McCain or Olivia Newton-John, so I have to disagree.
-
His birthday is December 17, 1936. I checked wiki before I made my team.

Thread Description Restoration Project
Joey Russ replied to Spade_Cooley's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
How about for this thread: it doesn't need a tagline. Just to be ironic. -
I checked. No she wasn't on the 2008 list. I think the reason people think she was on the list (I checked her date of death and it was 2010) was because another person whose last name was Edwards, in this case movie director Blake Edwards, died around the same time and was on the list as well...
-
I disagree about his mother. She seems to be more fringes of fame, and she doesn't seem to have done anything notable outside of being McCain's mother, and it isn't like the Kennedy clan, and a second look on the 2010 list shows that it was actually movie director Blake Edwards, not Elizabeth Edwards who made the list. Of course, McCain himself definitely should be on the list next year. That's why he got his own thread...

I agree with Obama. I hope he fights as hard as he can.

Yeah, I was kind of hoping that he wouldn't have to likely die this way, as while I disagree with him politically, I still think that he is one of the better republicans in the party, and will feel sad when he goes. I think the warning signs were kind of there for a month and a half, as during the James Comey testimony, he didn't necessarily seem to be himself, as he's usually a sharp minded guy, and he seemed confused during the testimony.

She's doing great according to her daughter. Yeah, going to a healing center means that your perfectly fine...

My drummers team is currently having no score. It desperately needs a huge comeback to overtake shameless in the theme team league. Sigh...

Damn you Republicans. Damn you...
