Oops. I must've jinxed him.
-
Your starting to head into Zorders territory with that statement. Just saying.
-
Thanks for that. With so many names (there might be 500), I was bound to at least miss one.
-
Mark anyone in that list above who has died dead, so we can see who did people expect to die that were sent in but were missed. I know the full list is very diverse in all, but one that surprised me in getting no votes at all was Gregg Allman. He seemed to be more ill than some of the other rockers on the list, so I am surprised he wasn't chosen but that's just my thought. Also, make yourselves a new years resolution for next year: get Ozzy Osbourne in the top 50 next year.

I'm not sure if they'll break it comfortably, lots of picks who we think are good candidates always like to hang on. We should break it though.
-
That, and the Crowdsourced list had Sinead O'Connor in 2016. What a terrible pick...
-
Yeah, for my DDP, jokering Suisala was a really bad choice...
-
It wasn't even a person though, Muhammad was one...
-
Oprah Winfrey is in no way as bad as a pick as George Lineker. Now the cunt will probably still be here in 60 years time...
-
Yep. William Hartnell wasn't really that great of a pick either...
-
That might be a good idea actually. It's gets annoying when you look at another thread and see this pop up all over again.
-
You know what #4 is?
-
Not ever. Biggest misses ever belong to Alec Guinness, Boris Yeltsin, and Patrick Moore.
-
Zandvliet should be fine, he already received a BBC obit, which counts for DDP purposes, so he should be safe.
-
Yes, meanwhile, the death of Paul Van Zandvliet means Sean and I are at 4, and chorizo is at 3 I believe. EDIT: Nope, he's at 4 as well, as he swapped in both Helen Fawkes and Zandvliet the same round.
-
Not saying that this is the answer to #4, but could it possibly be the film noir Kiss of Death?
-
Well, I wondered how long that was going to take. Probably one of the most suspenseful obit waits tbh.
-
Ah, damn it.
-
You clearly misread what he said. He mentioned nothing about the cause of death at all.

Prowse is probably worse. I don't see him being a centenarian, but I still think he has years left in him. -

Bob Barker is one that I could see in his 100th year. (You can thank me later when he turns out to be a hit later this year. ). -
I really don't know how often they put 1 hit wonders on the list without doing any other achievements that really stand out to the worldwide community, cause if they don't, that'll explain why Sarstedt and Skellern didn't make the list. Hollingsworth is probably a case of not wanting to put people over 100 with a few exceptions (and again, besides that one major scoop, what else has done that is significant). Soares, well, I can see why he didn't make the list, they had their worries about his obitality, and while he was significant in his own country, he didn't necessarily make decisions that really had a worldwide impact (or at least, an impact for the U.K.), unlike Mugabe, Akihito, the 2 US Presidents or even King Michael (he really impacted WW2 in the end even though he was forced into exile after the war ended). Kohl definitely falls into that group above, and is definitely the biggest miss so far.

I personally respect the decisions of the family. Many want it to be private and keep it a personal matter until they die, and I respect their decision.
