Not to mention that two of your three died later folk also ended up getting a QO… -
How’s Your 2022 Shortlist going?

Msc had a team like that earlier, and while it was largely a success, he had a few who didn’t die and even a couple who got a qualifying obit! -
I think dropping Linda Nolan would be a big mistake tbh, not sure why multiple people think she should be dropped.

Here’s that Vincente Fernandez QO if anyone is interested. -
Well, Rob Burrow was well enough to attend a charity lunch. Also doesn’t look the worst here. Dunno, this case kind of confused me…

Did a provisional 20 and I’m surprisingly happy with it. Of course, there’s your Frank Field’s and Gary Burgess’s who probably won’t make the starting line so there would be more spaces to fill in… -
Michael Nesmith for the LOTM. Last picked in 2019

Sykes continues to be absent from Last Word. Given the larger amount of celeb deaths recently I don’t think that mention is coming at this point…

Pele is looking like a must for next year alas

I miss Iain at this point honestly. Gags like the Tennessee none are far better than this shit.

At this rate our lists would have to be filled with Rick Davies and Yoshiro Nakamatsu!

How’s Your 2022 Shortlist going?

My dead pooling research has been far more laxed this time, so my teams would probably be about 90 - 95% public names this time around. I don’t know the full extent on how much I’m gonna enter in this upcoming year, though it’ll still be more than the DDP and Alt Obits… -
Thank you for your very insightful posts Captain Obvious. Without it nobody would ever have thought of checking his QO chances.

Social media seems to have her as dead. Awaiting for more info though… -
Congrats on making it even more sure that there will be a 12th hit.

I agree, this is a very sound suggestion. Y’all should pick him for 2022.

I mean, it’s a fool game to think that they listen to the forum most of the time but they do seem to throw a bone to the forum every now and then. I mean, remember when Errol Christie and Gord Downie snuck onto the list? Would never have happened if they didn’t look at the thread.
-
Pretty sure the committee doesn’t look at the ideas and possibilities thread. I tend to see that thread as more of a catch all for dead pooling in general, whereas the who should make the Deathlist thread is actually focused on names that should make the Deathlist

The deadline has always been the same every single year. If you miss out because it’s not advent yet, that’s on you.
-
Alright, masterlist is up. Obviously game doesn’t start until midnight in the UK, so if any of these end up being DNS you guys can definitely replace names.
-
Unfortunately it looks like you two were a bit too late. Apologies for that.
