    I don't think Singh's obit is such a certainty (maybe 60%). Hundal is now at The Independent, which doesn't count anymore. His last work for the Guardian was quite a while ago.

    I could see the mail running an obit due to his death, but I think that's unlikely. Never say never though, I guess.

    Got a FB message from a cousin over the weekend. It seems my Uncle (Dad's younger brother) died in November and nobody bothered to tell anyone. My Dad doesn't know and his sister doesn't know. My sister will be livid as she loves a good funeral.

    So sorry you had to wait so long to hear the news. Condolences.

  3. A quick update for Jay Clark. You all who selected him will get your expected basic point and DQSBP point, but there's a twist. Shameless types will actually make you lose a point, so Dead Cow and msc will receive one point, with Chorizo, who jokered him gaining 2 points... until you add that he found secret spot #16, meaning he's now in the lead by 8 points. I call that luck right there. Have we found our winner already?

    New Leaderboard:

    1st - Captain Chorizo - 52 points

    2nd - Death Impends - 44 points

    3rd - msc - 44 points

    4th= - Dead Cow - 43 points

    4th= - RadGuy - 43 points

    6th - Bibliogryphon - 35 points

    7th - RishCast - 34 points

    8th= - Shaun of the Dead - 33 points

    8th= - Unknown Man - 33 points

    10th - Pedro67 - 32 points

    11th - joeyruss - 18 points

    12th - YoungWilz - 17 points

    13th - Gooseberry Crumble - 3 points

    14th - Cat O'Falk - minus 1 point

    So, you've got a floor of around 170 points? :D

    Ricketts was always going to be a 2017/2018er, but I ignored all the pancreatic cancer victims last year like a big idiot. Wont be the only person to have noticed him missing from a certain team, mind you.

    Golmard might be a title winning risk he was far too early for me - ony 3 years since diagnosis.

    Anyhow, the turning point this year will be the Al-Baghdadi/Holmlund double header one sleepy day in July...B)

    With Baghdadi dead by then, all I need is Brady, Davies and Loughlin to die and Suisala to obit, and then you'll have your winner. :P
