So sorry you had to wait so long to hear the news. Condolences.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Velvet Underground and Nico today.

She got a mail obit. Can I claim Gord Downie for round 4, cause I'm basically heading to bed after this post.

Although we wait for the daily mail, I think this will do for Magill for The Deathlist Cup, no?
EDIT: The Mail came in now.

RIP to her. Why did I ignore her instead of some other shameless types who made my team though.
Really sad case though.

Is it rude to hope that someone has died so they're out of their misery, cause that's how I feel about Magill right now.

Here it is: Sir Nigel Rodley, Sir Cosmo Haskard, Louise Hulton, Pete Overend Watts

Reading a post from one of her friends, I'd be surprised if Lisa Magill makes this weekend. Poor girl.
-
If he's still around in 2018 he'd be guaranteed to obit. He's been on The Ed Sullivan Show and opened up for The Jimi Hendrix Experience. That should at least get him a guardian obit, though I suspect he'll get one from the BBC.

Next time i hear something about womens rights, im going to slit my wrists and hold them both under salted water.
So, you wouldn't mind if I said girl rights, right?

Pick for DI, TDC (what coincidence!) and me.
Would've been a hit for me had I won against GUN as well. That's means I'm at 2.

Will this be the pick that'll make Death Impends catch up to Chorizo in the Joker's Dead Pool? Stay tuned...

A quick update for Jay Clark. You all who selected him will get your expected basic point and DQSBP point, but there's a twist. Shameless types will actually make you lose a point, so Dead Cow and msc will receive one point, with Chorizo, who jokered him gaining 2 points... until you add that he found secret spot #16, meaning he's now in the lead by 8 points. I call that luck right there. Have we found our winner already?
New Leaderboard:
1st - Captain Chorizo - 52 points
2nd - Death Impends - 44 points
3rd - msc - 44 points
4th= - Dead Cow - 43 points
4th= - RadGuy - 43 points
6th - Bibliogryphon - 35 points
7th - RishCast - 34 points
8th= - Shaun of the Dead - 33 points
8th= - Unknown Man - 33 points
10th - Pedro67 - 32 points
11th - joeyruss - 18 points
12th - YoungWilz - 17 points
13th - Gooseberry Crumble - 3 points
14th - Cat O'Falk - minus 1 point

Think I should've clarified on what I meant to say.

It hasn't even been a month since Abdel Rahman died, and now she dies. Coincidence?

I think it's a hoax. The article is one day old and no other sources have picked up on it yet.

What has msc done to piss you off?
Not let him in the cup for his own bad behavior.

@Cat O'Falk Where are you? You've been gone for over a week now, and I don't think anyone angered you this time, did they?

Ricketts was always going to be a 2017/2018er, but I ignored all the pancreatic cancer victims last year like a big idiot. Wont be the only person to have noticed him missing from a certain team, mind you.
Golmard might be a title winning risk he was far too early for me - ony 3 years since diagnosis.
Anyhow, the turning point this year will be the Al-Baghdadi/Holmlund double header one sleepy day in July...
With Baghdadi dead by then, all I need is Brady, Davies and Loughlin to die and Suisala to obit, and then you'll have your winner.

I could see the mail running an obit due to his death, but I think that's unlikely. Never say never though, I guess.
