@Sean just checking you've noted the two first teams (mine and Commtech's) - they were posted before you said you'd cleared your PM inbox.

I'd be extremely surprised if Starmer moved Rayner, Reeves, Lammy, Cooper, Streeting (unfortunately), Miliband (Ed) or Phillipson in the near future.

Yeah, a lot of this group is very droppable. There are a small handful of others I'd like to be giving points to but I'm taking no risks this round. Either my first choice is going through with flying colours, or I shall have a monumental tantrum before going round the country firebombing the sheds of anyone who looks like they could be a Deathlist member.

Bit more harmony in the scoring so far this round. We're ripping through this list!

With the power of tactical voting, we could see the back of people like Kemi Bad Enoch. To the people of NW Essex and indeed anyone saying "nah, not voting, all the same etc": Just vote. Vote tactically. Do it. Be part of what could be a momentous occasion: the death of a party mostly responsible for the status quo you hate so much. This election isn't so much about who's going to be forming the next government as it is an opportunity to properly cunt one of the two major parties of government into the sea.

I don't really like the Ghost song. Saying this in small font as I've been scared into submission. Mott is probably the least predictable winner of the three, which sells it to me more tbh. Bowie, as we all know, is class. Baker Street is normally heard being introduced by Jeremy Vine. -
Been To Any Good Gigs Lately?

I still don’t really go out and do things on my own unless it’s just for a walk or a drive, and I don’t really know why. It’s a weird one; It’s the other people who get my arris in gear to go to gigs and stuff, but my social battery is seriously flat afterwards and often I wonder if I’d have preferred it on my own. -

I will say, full-throatedly and in normal-sized font, that Baker Street absolutely does not deserve to win. As you say, it is one of the overplayed songs. The sax solo lends the song to adverts and stuff but that's the only notable aspect really; the rest of the song has the whiff of boiled cabbage about it. -

All The Young Dudes. Bowie had finished producing two of his own albums but had a few more songs in the locker he'd written already, so gave demos out to people he thought would do them justice. Think I remember reading that Mott the Hoople, who were struggling to make a success of themselves, couldn't believe a) their luck, and b) that Bowie would give such an amazing song away.
