DL Status Updates: Statements, Obsevations & Verbal Tennis
TQR replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I pined for my close friend for ten years before he finally did what I never had the bottle to do. Ten years! All that time he let me tear myself to shreds on the inside and later shamble from one completely half-hearted relationship to the next, all because he himself was doing the world's longest run-up. He couldn't even be bothered to drug me (not that he'd have needed to). I dunno why I put up with the selfish bastard. -

In a shock to nobody sentient, it turns out Reform's plans laid out in their manifesto are completely fucked. The IFS: Dan Neidle, tax expert running a not-for-profit tax policy consultancy:

GetVoting.org's tactical votes in all constituencies, based on latest MRP polls, have gone live. There are 181 seats where they make no recommendation (basically where the Tories have no chance). Check your tactical vote here. Oh, and the deadline to register to vote is 23:59 TOMORROW.

As soon as the Count Binface Party opens up membership to non-bins, I’m joining.

Whom Are You Tarring With The Epithet "twunt"?
TQR replied to maryportfuncity's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Discocunt = Decatwunt. I never thought a pokey little forum like this would become a noteworthy featurette of my life, a little escape for a moment at a time. I'd go as far as to say that, overall, it has improved my outlook on strangers. -
Yes, it's an incredibly divided couple of years, this. The likes of Carly, Miley, Lorde, Florence, Jessie, Coldplay and OneRepublic are proper points of contention. Quite honestly, of those seven, I only give a toss about one. 14 remain for the chop.

A major manifesto launch today: that of Count Binface.

Rishi Sunak is "not opposed to assisted dying". I like to think this was his answer to the question "So, Rishi, how do you think your election campaign is going?"

Being a proper car anorak, I'm a huge fan of Giugiaro's work. A legendary designer of some of the most mouthwateringly desirable cars of all time, as well as everyday fixtures like the OG Volkswagen Golf. I learned to drive in my dad's 159 for a bit. Two days after I passed my test it suffered a total failure of all the engine electrics, and I had to go and rescue him in my shitey old Focus, which blew its water pump on the way back. That was not the best evening ever.

I've left it completely alone, it's not even interesting enough to downvote I like a fair amount of Coldplay but some of it, Paradise included, is very Radio 2.

Half a dozen BAFTAs, two Emmys, two Oscars, a Golden Globe, a Laurence Olivier, a DBE, a cancerous bowel in the not-too-distant past and an ominous silence since pulling out of a Channel 4 drama in March due to "ill health". Fucking legend, fucking Deathlisty.

^ Voting up a lot of bland bollocks, apparently.

Wouldn't have thought so. Music taste mostly has no age. Not all youngsters are into hippity hop and wrap and bubble gum popular music. -
