Well done Brackers...honestly though, I'll stuff 20 £50 notes up my arris and deliver them personally to the head office of Cancer Research UK if she makes it past June.

31 over 90 39 over 80 46 over 70 They're trying to play it safe. But they didn't put Nobby Stiles in...now that's a bit bizarre. I reckon 14/50.

I reckon he'll see 2019...Chirac will be first

Come on JP, don't fear the reaper

Do have the finest of new years, everyone (who deserves it)

It’s gotta be either a new entry for McCain or the Reverend.

I think a lot of nonagenarians like June Brown and Angela Lansbury and Betty White and QEII will probably make it to 2020, they’re all looking pretty healthy at present...though I’ve got a funny feeling that June Whitfield isn’t much longer for this world

Wishful thinking, perhaps? Nice list by the way, I like to see lists with out-there punts on them!

So How's Your 2018 Shortlist Looking?

One thing I'd really like to know is this: How is Roey's 2018 shortlist looking at the moment? -
You surprise me But seriously, I've only heard one song from it, 'Make You Feel My Love'. Bob Dylan's legendary writing, made huge by the powerful tones of Adele...and then done by that bloke off of DIY SOS with a face like a tarantula's ringer. I bet Dylan was kicking himself that he didn't come up with that.

Well...17 deaths was a bloody good turnout anyhow! And with regards to who'll be the 1st death in 2018, out of principle it's Bracknell for me
-
Ricky Nelson, off of Rock and Roll, made the last minute decision that 1986 wasn't his scene, on this day 32 years ago, aged 45.

Ah, sorry. Fixed.

I have 39 Travis songs on my iTunes. And some R.E.M. I'm 21 years of age.
-
Ozzy, much like Keef Richards, will astound everyone and last until they're about 150.

Political Discussions And Ranting Thread

Believe me, we really do not see the US as a role model country, in any aspect, by any stretch of the imagination. Well, a vast number* of Leave voters have an IQ about half the number of their age. *No, not all of them. Probably around 53%, looking at the (yes, I know, almost certainly exaggerated) poll. -

She's bringing sexy Brack, YEAH

And TQR's SDL 2018 is now open for business (a tad early because I reckon my class of '17 is exhausted of any more hits. Only 13, how pants.) I tried to make the bunch as renown as possible, so considering this was my no.1 priority I think it's alright!

Great shame. So many knew so little about her, but she was so big a part of so many childhoods. Only Velma & Fred left now.

And as someone not only omnivorous but who openly describes veggies and vegans as deplorable mentalists, this made me smirk a lot too. I do reckon she'll make January now...I didn't realise she was in line for actual proper treatments as well as her own alternative shaman fucking load of horse's arse.
