Political Discussions And Ranting Thread
Thatcher replied to Deathray's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Here is a conundrum for you: As a party which is attempting to reverse the result of a democratic vote whereby 52% of the British people chose to leave the European Union, and as a party which is openly seeking to block and hinder the democratic mandate which has been given, how on earth is it possible for that party to be called the Liberal 'Democrats'? Undemocratic Liberals I would accept. Liberal non-Democrats is slightly less catchy but equally as true. Lunatic Democracy-haters is an option if they still wish to use the LD abbreviation. Liberal they may be. But Democrats? Far from it. -

I think Lord Snowdon has to be considered a big miss, although to be fair we hadn't really heard much about his health.

Already posted in a tonne of other threads. Not like Thatcher to be wasteful is it? Is everybody else not referring to Tony Booth the actor? I can't find anyone referring to Tony Booth the Beatles Poster Artist.

Are you referring to Tony Booth the artist of The Beatles posters instead of Antony Booth the actor? He's the only one that has died as far as I'm aware.
-
Not the Tony Booth we were looking for.

Unlikely. The Danes seem to treat it the way we do, job for life. She'd be breaking tradition if she abdicated. I personally agree, I don't think she will abdicate, although if she does then I think she'd be one to watch. Then again, if Prince Henrik goes first (keeping in mind he's 82) then I think she could potentially follow soon after him.
