BTS's music is corporate owned and they're an overproduced pop group (I'm not saying they're bad, just that they're very specifically curated by the corporates behind them). They aren't going to do anything until the winds are blowing one way or another so strongly you can't ignore it. The artist who will be interesting to watch is Taylor Swift. She owns all her new and re-recorded stuff, has a bit of a rabid fanbase, and has already fought a music streaming giant and won in the shape of iTunes/Apple.

Assuming her side has been honest in that she's not in it for the money and she doesn't settle... There's really only one of two reasons he'd want to take it to the people, I think: 1. They've got some heretofore unannounced dirt of her that will completely tank her believability among the public and get him an acquittal 2. He's deluded enough to think the public at large believes him Given that BBC interview, I'm thinking more the latter than the former. (again, this is all given that it's not about the money, that the case will make it to a jury, etc. etc.)

Thich Nhat Hanh QO: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/jan/22/thich-nhat-hanh-revered-zen-buddhist-monk-and-peace-activist-dies-at-95 Jan 2022 (and 2022 in general) hit count at 29 at the moment. 7 more hits needed to tie the all-time monthly record, and 9 more days to do it in. Given the speed this month has gone at, looks doable.

I...have no idea. Either that or literally possessed by the ghost of Lincoln I guess? Either way, he's lost it.
-
Jon Voight continues to lose it, now claims Trump is possessed by Abraham Lincoln in a new Twitter video. Does that signify an actual mental decline or simply a further descent into conspiracy theories? You decide.

Personally wouldn't be surprised if it's the former. I know for a fact that there are situations in which the hospital and family have delayed death notifications of larger than life figures in India due to worry about what it would do to the general population (in one memorable case with a politician, there was a legitimate worry of riots breaking out). Usually if it's a delay of a couple of days at max while everyone gets their ducks in a row, so if there's already "Life in Pictures" articles coming out, wouldn't be surprised if there's a journalist with inside information that they can't leak to the world, but are using a get a step up. EDIT: Hindi news reports saying doctors are telling fans to pray for her recovery, so doesn't sound too good

Witness willing to testify she saw Prince Andrew with a ‘young girl’ at London nightclub Andrew insists he was never at the club, let alone with Giuffre. The club has been named as one of the venues Andrew took her before abusing her. Witness's lawyer notes she was a victim of trafficking herself, which is why she's willing to come forward. in other news, Prince Andrew’s social media accounts deleted as he fights US lawsuit

Just looking at the website and kind of surprised that the two main DL names that have gone weren't on the Drop 40. Was expecting Poitier there at least since I know some people (me included) had questions about Durst's reliability re: his illnesses

Take this from an Indian from Maharashtra - Mangeshkar is more than a celebrity in India. She's known as the Nightingale of India for good reason - she started her career around Indian independence and sung for every major movie for a good 4+ decades. She's literally been the playlist of several generations of people. Additionally, she's also sung major religious and nationalistic songs over the years which have had a major impact on the country. There's maybe three/four "mainstream" celebs whose health demands this amount of attention in the country - Tendulkar, Amitabh Bacchan, Mangeshkar, and Rajnikanth. Bacchan and Rajnikanth's deaths will almost certainly cause the country to shutdown, and I won't be surprised if that will happen for Tendulkar and Mangeshkar as well, but they'll definitely cause Maharashtra to shut down (both are from and live in the state) EDIT: Easiest comparison to a former deathlister is Gord Downie. When Downie died, Canada shut down. When Mangeshkar dies, so will India (her death will be less tragic, of course, given her age, but it won't change the impact I don't think)

As MPFC notes, it's because the judge believes that there's evidence her word is reliable - with evidence being the key point here. I'd imagine it doesn't help that Andrew's argument during the last round of hearings wasn't "didn't do it!" it was "according to the last deal she made, she can't go after me legally." Yes, I know he's claiming he didn't do it to the media, but saying things to the media is different from saying things in court. In court, his argument was about whether she could legally go after him for money given her deal with Epstien, and they ruled she could. But that also meant he wasn't pushing the "didn't do it" angle, legally speaking at least. Now, there's evidence that they'll go with the "didn't do it" push in the upcoming trial, but that doesn't do much to change what the existing rulings have been.

Let's be honest, it's being politically on the left (at least what passes for the left in the US/Canada) It's a very interesting list is all I'm saying, and definitely feels more like wish fulfillment in sections than actual predictions. Which isn't necessarily a wrong way to deadpool, but it's definitely not the way to determine the main list.

Bob Saget dead at 65. Starred in Full House and sequel Fuller House and had a voice role in How I Met Your Mother

Should note that the Qidiots have taken her death as proof that hospitals are killing people and are either threatening to kill healthcare workers or paying a bounty to those who do manage to do it. it's only the fringes making the threats so far, but these morons can't even die properly.

Where Will The Next School Massacre Be?
CastAway replied to maryportfuncity's topic in DeathList Forum
Should note that this seems to have been expected by the students (though neither the school nor the cops did anything): "Robin Redding said her son, Treshan Bryant, is a 12th grader at the school but stayed home on Tuesday. She said he had heard threats of a shooting at the school" https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/nov/30/michigan-school-shooting-oxford -

I remain continuously surprised that, given the sheer number of 80+ US senators and congresspeople, we don't see more deaths in office.
