Eh. Technically no, because they turned acting into the family business, and at least a couple members from each of the next 2 generations are still alive and acting.

As expected impeachment failed, but it did get 58 votes. Will be interesting to see what happens post-elections next year. If the Dems pull off a majority in the House, they could possibly bring impeachment back up and pass it - though I don't see it passing Senate regardless of who holds the majority, so even if it passes in the House it'll be an symbolic gesture at best.

Assuming she survives the month, I expect she'll have stiff competition for number 1 with McCain

Wouk has to die at some point right? Right?

It might just be Kushner/Session he's implicating though, and I'd put both of them above Flynn in the pecking order as well. If nothing else, the investigation has the potential to cause a mass resignation of trump nominees, which will be interesting in itself. Furthermore, if the Repubs think impeaching Trump will allow them a Pence Presidentship, they might go ahead and do that. Depending on how desperate Ryan is to become President (he's next in line post-Pence), he might be willing to go ahead will getting them both out of office. Low chance of the latter happening, IMO, but a chance nonetheless.

I'm calling Kushner on the next to be indicted list

http://edition.cnn.com/2017/11/18/entertainment/david-cassidy-hospitalized/index.html CNN story updated an hour back, still saying critical condition https://hoax-alert.leadstories.com/3468871-fake-news-david-cassidy-did-not-die-of-organ-failure-after-brief-hospitalization-aged-67.html Website debunking claims of Cassidy's death, says site that claimed he was dead is a fake news website designed to fool readers IMO, he's still got a tiny amount of time to go, but he's not seeing another week, let alone the end of the month.

I'm not sure their economy can be fucked up any more than it is right now, so this might just be a case of 'there's nowhere to go but up' happening, to be honest.

Youssouf Ouédraogo, first PM of Burkina Faso after the removal of the military coup led by Thomas Sankara, and in office from June 1992 to March 1994, has died aged 64. Obit in French, cannot find an English one.
-
He kicked out the VP a week or so back, IIRC, and he's the guy who organised this whole thing. Odds on VP being the real power behind the throne, given how easily he got support for the coup?

That, of course, would involve thinking ahead, which it doesn't seem like anyone there's doing.

https://www.romania-insider.com/romanian-royal-house-scandal/ Disinherited grandson Nicolae Medforth-Mills might not have been disinherited after all. Everything looks ready for a lengthy court battle after the patriarch passes on.

Given we've just lost the one centenarian this year, and should be gaining another one unless Vera Lynn either dies this year or isn't on next year's list, I'd prefer keeping new centenarian additions to just the one more, to prevent too many of them. I like the suggestion of Cleary, so I'm seconding it for the new centenarian!

Though, the stress of it might push Michael over the edge sooner?

I'm eyeballing the king as a potential surprise next year at this point, tbh.

Yeah, apparently the Army messed up filing of the papers that would prevent him from legally getting a gun?

https://www.globalresearch.ca/saudi-prince-abdul-aziz-bin-fahd-a-business-partner-of-former-lebanons-prime-minister-hariri-dies-during-arrest/5617064 More news on Abdul Aziz bin Fahd: ex-CIA agent says he's dead, was apparently a business partner of just quit Lebanese PM. What I'm curious about is why all the changes right now, up to and including the well documented change in Crown Prince.

Adding to things that happened in the Saudi royal family over the past day and a half to 2 days or so, another Saudi Prince, Abdul Aziz bin Fahd, has died aged 44. Allegedly, his death occurred during a gunfight during which he was resisting arrest. His father was King Fahd, who was the 2nd king before the current one. He was at one point the head of the Office of the Council of Ministers (11 years, 2000-2011) and was one of the closest aides to the previous king, King Abdullah, before they had a falling out, possibly over his closeness to Crown Prince Nayef, who was Crown Prince for a couple of months until his death from what was officially called "cardiac problems." The Saudi royal family remains majorly complicated in its relations and what influence any member has at any given time, but I'm pretty sure both this death and Mansour's over the space of about a day or so make it pretty clear that the purge of competitors for the throne isn't just limited to the arrests.
