    Fascinating Creatures - Squids

On the other hand, from its expression I doubt that the octopus is fully consenting.

Should Notapotato Be Stripped Of His Moderatorship?

Though you don't necessarily obey them.

Should Notapotato Be Stripped Of His Moderatorship?

Gravy will still be available, but only to those party members who have shown outstanding loyalty. Given the American propensity (well KFC anyway) to put Potatoes and Gravy together, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that Iain, Godot and Notapotato are all Banshees Scream. The genius of it all, more twists than a Robert Goddard novel. That gratuitous product placement can lead to only one conclusion: you, Iain, Godot, Notapotato and Banshees Scream are all Robert Goddard.

    Fidel Castro

On video, eh. That must quash any suspicion about his current well-being.

Couldn't agree more BS I thought GWB had already seen to that.

Handrejka And Magic Wanderer's Modem: Rip

I know - I missed it as well. I didn't. I think I was there, but with my drink problem one can never be sure.

    Andy Fordham Memorial Darts Thread

Are you there yet? I wish! Rather unforunately, my financial situation can only be described as "dire" at the moment, so no Lakeside tickets for ie+ this year. However, I do sit in front of the box everyday - bikini-clad - watching the darts, swigging beer, eating chicken-in-a-basket, and yelling "ooonnnnneeeeehhhhuunnnddrrreedandeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiiggghhhhhtttttyy!" whenever appropriate. There are no television cameras here of course, but I suppose I could always ask my flatmate to record me with my mobile phone if I wanted to recreate the Lakeside environment even more... But that would just be silly! If you're still wearing the bikini, do you mind if I check out with a double top?

    Saddam Hussein

For one thing, a rising generation of highly-trained Saddam Hussein look-alikes will be planning for a life on the dole queues, after hoping against hope right up to the last minute.

    Edward Heath

But seriously, I worked for EH for two years, and I never heard any gossip about him or detected any symptoms of latent homosexuality. I would say, rather, that he never managed to establish a genuinely close relationship with anyone, male or female. Hence, unsurprisingly, he was lonely. Next topic

    Stranger Than Death

Did a family member manage to renew the disabled sticker for those all-important trips to Waitrose? No. Incidently both she and my grandfather died at 6.40am. Must be the time they look for dead folk in hospitals... Or when they do the rounds to collect the usable disabled stickers....

Three 10p coins, 3 x 5p coins, 3 half p coins. Did they ever get a prize on Ask the Family? No, I thought not.

So how old is Robert Lockwood Senior?

They died in the same hospital, too. If they were dying in different wards, their relatives would have been faced with awkward dilemmas....

    Room 101

Entertainment. Hein the politician hater. I respect and could even agree with what you say, but my only question for you is 'Then how should a country be run?' By a brutal dictatorship ofcourse... Hereditary, I presume?

    Not Exactly Famous...

Thanks DDT. I edited a book of his memoirs. He was incredibly spikey, and I detested his views on virtually every subject of public interest. But the private man was... actually, just as bad as the public image. Even so, I'm glad that he's been remembered here. He was muddle-headed, but painfully sincere in all that he did and said.

    Drunken Deathlisters

On balance that's probably a safer way of gaining satisfaction while drunk, although even during a dry spell you would probably have to bathe afterwards.

Although the pregnancy had done her no physical favours, Angelina was still lovely in Brad's eyes as she produced their first child on a humble park bench.

    Abdelaziz Bouteflika

Well, originally I thought you had. Then, I thought to myself - have I come across any proof MPFC IS a man? Likes football & motor racing, drinking & fighting. Being the terrible chauvinist I am, I thought, male. Certainly the posts from MPFC allude to masculine feelings. But could I be wrong? I'm not sure of anything at all any more in todays mixed up world. I know I'm male, but am I? Is Abdelaziz Bouteflika really male? Who knows, who knows? MPFC is so called as he/she/it lives in Maryport. That might be the source of your confusion. It sure is for those who live in Maryport, too. As they say, any Port in a storm....

    Eric Forth

There have been some responses in the near misses for 2006 topic in the upper half of the board. Many people have stated they are not familiar with Mr. Forth; perhaps, that is why there is so limited a review. It's actually a technical hiccough in the forum software. For some stupid reason it takes a few views before the software displays more than zero. AFAIK it's nothing to worry about. regards, Hein That will make the late Mr Forth rest a little easier.

    Charlton Heston

does it now? odd I never saw it that way. Perhaps you could expplain why it is that you think that it is that it does this. Maybe you like the idea of the lifeless Chuck being strapped into the saddle and charging his gun-disliking enemies for just one last time.

Things To Do While Waiting For Death... 2006

My sulphurous asteroid has just dispatched Canada, according to their on-line team of experts. Where's this left-hand, right-hand thing? I found it, and got 5 right-brained and 13 left-brained. So, am I a Liberal Democrat?
