Can you stop your complotist non-sense? Even Mr Sulu looks interesting in comparaison

As usual on december, summary of all the dead of this year through a little fictionnary text by Libération (french Newspaper). Sempé is the main character of the text.

I think he’ll die today and be the George Michael/Eartha Kitt of 2022. I searched for the sweepstake thread but didn’t find it anywhere.

Pierre menés
-
Is this a threat ?
-
He was hospitalized in the beginning of the year after suffering a stroke (which causes his left eyes to be half closed since then). He can’t walk anymore and uses a wealchair (see first photo of this page). He has lost some weight and seems pretty reddish in this last video. you can compared with this random video from 3 years ago for example. Not in the same shape.

Latest journal de bord a few hours ago. Nothing much new.
-
On these two articles (here and here) it says that both Li Wenhua and Gu Zhen’an died after «a long illness ». Don’t know if it’s true though. Report of the place of their deaths are incoherent also : one time it’s Beijing (which would be the place of 6 deaths among the 7), one time it’s Pékin. I really think the world forum on scientific development of Shengdu could be for something in it, it was organized by the academy of engineering and the one of science and médecine…
-
Well, I think you will be pleased to know that you have not 13 but 14 hits as James lovelock died back in july
-
Maybe because of the international forum on scientific and technologic development which took place in Chengdu around the 27th of November and attended by more than 300 universitarians, academics and professionals
-
Can’t understand why this academy of engineering is so touched tbh…
-
Why him ? Did I miss something ?
-
And why is he standing like that ? The more the video progresses, the more he sinks into the sofa as if he couldn't get up by himself
-
Looks frail to me… has lost wait and what is that skin color ? I wouldn’t drop him for next year

Agree with you ! As @Fantomasss said in the french speaking deathlist, Malaurie is one of the few french centenarian A lister along with Françoise Gilot, Micheline Presle, Roland Dumas and Edgar Morin. Soulages was the first one to die among them.
-
Well Jean Malaurie is a big one in France. New articles about his centenary today everywhere (here, here, here and here for example). Quite respected by intellectuals and academics, will get a breaking news flash when he goes
-
Didn’t know all of that. Interesting that all these centenarians have overcome cancer, accident and everything. You probably have to have some exceptionnal strengh to go to 100 (not everyone makes it too 100 etc…)
-
Didn’t know she battled cancer. When did she get rid of it ?

And that not everyone makes it to 100 or is beyond 100 -
Either the last hit of 2022 or the first one of 2023 I think
