That is the most likely seat for shock Tory gain. The Tories won the local electionsin the seat easily last year. Apparently no Tory candidate in Rotherham. Bad news for Labour as that could mean the reform candidate wins - the combined vote of the Tories and Brexit Party in 2019 would have won the seat. -

I’m surprised it’s that high up. It was not seen in 2015 as a major target seat for Labour. -
It’s the main headline of the print Daily Mail today because he works for them.

This swing would cost the Tories the seat of Torbay as that was their safest ward within it and their almost lost it. -
There is an argument to be made that Maguire was the most in form of the any defender likely to start even ahead of Stones and Walker who have both struggled at times season just gone. .

Just got my first leaflet - for the Labour Party. Unusually they even door knocking. Might be a sign of concern about Galloway backed independent and Greens doing well there. -

The fact the Tories need to bring in senior politicians to campaign in Newbury is newsworthy - she has a 16k majority. -

The Tories are doomed in Winchester - tiny majority. Looks to be a easy Lib Dem Gain on current polls. -

A fair part of the area moving was probably not his strongest areas either and baring in mind how narrow he won that seat he knew he would never win Blaydon and Consett unless the Tories were going to win 350 seats + again. -

Not really because North West Durham has been abolished and split up. 48.8% goes to Blaydon and Consett which is Labour held and other bits go to the Tory held seat of Bishop Auckland and the Labour held seats of North Durham and City of Durham. He could have replaced Dehenna Davison in Bishop Auckland who is standing down but chose not to. Labour will probably win Bishop Auckland if they get a majority. -

Maybe they got confused by hearing she had signed a new contract and thought it was a normal length one rather a just an extension to fit an exit date (Soap actors often sign short term contracts if it’s decided it’s better for the show for them to exit not at the time of the year when they contract expires but at a different time.) -

Helen Worth is retiring from Corrie. She has been on notably reduced apperence rate for a few years now (Only 13 apperences to date this year) so I do worry about her health. -
