Some big names there.

I’m not sure it’s only an outside possibility for Joanna Cherry. She did almost lose in 2017 through I’m not sure the urban Scottish Tory vote will get swings towards it as the rural Scottish Tory vote might. It was a Labour seat in 2005 and 2010 of course as well.

Probably the majority will use their driving license. About 70% of people have one and it’s small and easy to carry. Many younger people will also use their provisional license (It’s the easiest form of universally accepted ID.) With pensioner bus passes accepted that will be a well used form of ID as well. -
Opps. Typing late at night.is not a good idea.

Thangam Debbonaire is the most likely labour shadow Minster to lose - to the Greens. Ditto Wes Streeting is facing a pro Gaza independent challenger. Would be better names than Chris Bryant or Angela Eagle. Maybe out Angela Rayner if not just because she is high orifice currently. I would say Peter Bottomley losing would be a big story.- labour have never won Worthing and his is the safer for the Tories of the two by a fair margin, Holdern depends on where he stands. His seat is being abolished and it is still not known where he is standing. If he gets a probably safe seat and loses that it’s a big story. But if he gets a very safe seat he won’t be in danger I suspect. Id put Corbyn and Galloway because those are big stories no matter what. If Andy Street or Seb Payne get Tory safe seats put them. The first is a big name and losing would be a massive story and the later would be a massive story on political Twitter. Maybe Johnny Mercer could be a contender - has done reality TV so has a wider name value. Esther McVey could also be in danger and would be a big story if she lost Tatton to Labour. Liam Fox also not entirely safe and another big name.

He is standing. He confirmed it on Twitter. And he will probably hold his seat. The SNP are not doing well - Scottish Tories will probably add seats not lose any.

Anyway will the police and NHS want volunteers only on the weekends. They would rather many of them in weekdays for a start. I doubt a lot of the military would want them either - in Europe where it is used it’s often the full time military staff who don’t like it much. James Cleverly in the Sun actually calls it National service and is very much putting the military aspect first - would have been better to put the idea of civil service first with the military just one option. Plus a year of Military service vs one weekend a month is quite different and quite odd. -

This will actually poll quite well and Labour will have to be careful how they oppose it. -
He has looked pretty well at the FA cup final.

‘Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford split after 14 years of marriage.’ That’s a shocker. Work commitments an unusual excuse for two people who both work in London only and one of thom is unwell and unable to work heavily. -

I am not sure he will go after having today off campaigning as well. With how bad things have gone the memes if Southampton lose will certainly go viral. -

Tipped to edit the Telegraph instead. Through many of their columnists don’t like him. -

Richard Holdern will get a safe seat elsewhere for sure I suspect. I can’t see the Tory chairman losing - he will get parachuted somewhere as his seat is being abolished. IDS is much more likely to lose than most of those. Steve Baker should also be on the first row - he seems doomed. Oliver Dowden really should be on the top row - I would be surprised if he loses. -

Gove is going but not sure if he will become a lord. Hunt will likely lose but again not sure. Shapps feels like the type to get a peerage if he loses. Patel is surely standing again and most likely winning her seat - and maybe becoming Tory leader. -

The electorate will likely remove her. 11k majority last time but boundary changes have already reduced that an estimated 6-7k. -
Guardian article about big name Tory’s getting donations mentions Penny Mourdant, Liam Fox, Simon Clarke and Bim Afolami as those in danger of losing their seats and getting donations. Donor’s writing Jeremy Hunt off already?

The Green council in Brighton was less successful through and didn’t keep control for long. I wonder how Sian Berry will do. Probably win but only narrowly - she won’t have any of the personal vote and is not a Brighton local. -

They are not bared from speaking or voting. The EVEL procedure was scrapped a few years ago. The SNP choose not speak or vote on issues that do not affect Scotland. I wonder if Douglas Alexander might be a contender for the cabinet - he is attempting a come back and has a good chance of winning his new seat of the SNP. Pamala Nash also in with a shot of coming back for Labour. -
There are always loads of MP’s who stand down rather than get defeated and get the pay off.

The father of the house Peter Bottomley is re - standing. It’s a seat Labour could take if they into solid majority territory
