However he was on life support until last week with pneumonia, surgery and diabetes complications etc. Of course he's now recovering fastly and could communicate well on his 95th. The most absurd part of the article is that they're saying "he won't live forever".

In addition there are a few other octogenarian senators and ministers. Feinstein and McConnell would fit there quite well. Seems Ebenezer Moses Debrah who I've mentioned here once died in May at 94.

Sir Owen Glenn is still alive (suffered from serious cancer and other ailments years ago but hasn't been mentioned here much since), but was wheelchairbound in February. One to keep an eye on.
