I remember her song "confident" from a few years ago, big name in the mainstream radio music

I heard somewhere that he's been joking with the hospital staff, any good sources that have confirmed this? I'm also interested in what that joke (or those jokes) was/were about. I remember that once in the 90s, was it in 1991 or 1992 he said, when asked if he wanted to live to 100, "bits and pieces are already falling off me." Was it his 70th birthday?

theoldlady now at 5 points too, after the death of Rush Limbaugh. Now it's Pat Martino vs. David Gulpilil vs. Jimmy Carter.

He'll be fine. The only thing that can kill a ghoul is decapitation or complete destruction of the head.

I'm very new here but i've already got a few somewhat unexpected hits in some pools, of course these aren't comparable to those of people who have been here for a longer time but here's some: - Stewart Prestley Blake. He was 106 so it was not very unexpected, but died 12 days after I picked him as a sub in the centenarians deathpool 2021 after my original pick, Dovid Soloveitchik died before reaching 100. - Izzat Ibrahim al-Douri. I picked him in my first pool, the one with 250 names, as I used to follow updates on him pretty often. Kind of a bad pick as there have been rumors of his death for years and he could've died off the radar but didn't. Not my worst pick though, that price would go to Mirzazhanov Atoyevich

Whose death will actually break your heart?
arghton replied to Whitehouse's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Ingvar Hirdwall Harald V Patrick Stewart plus all the hundreds of names I don't currently remember -
I tried to search for one but didn't find anything, thanks for letting me know that exists. I'll use it in the future. No need to be so annoyed and angry about the amount of forum threads. If you don't stop wasting your time complaining about them, I'll at one point create one for Than Shwe.

https://royalcentral.co.uk/europe/sweden/breaking-queen-silvia-taken-to-hospital-after-fall-at-drotningholm-castle-155850/ Queen Silvia was in hospital for a while after a fall at her home. Also, forgot to mention that Walther's death cause was dementia. Their mother also had dementia.

The main reason I started this thread was to see what others with more experience have achieved, I hadn't even heard of this website until the pandemic.

Political Discussions And Ranting Thread
arghton replied to Deathray's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I can imagine Boris Johnson having political discussions with Larry, the chief mouser. -
I doubt this will end well for Min Aung Hlaing, Soe Win and Myint Swe. And all because that bastard Hlaing didn't want to retire

He wasn't at the funeral of his brother. Apparently in such a shitty condition he couldn't attend. Attending the funeral would've probably been a death sentence for him anyways, not only because of the covid but also because he'll probably turn into dust if exposed to air

you might think: what is that one-time bond from 1969 doing nowadays? fooling his twitter followers into thinking this video from 11 years ago is new.

101 two days ago. No new pictures anywhere.
-
I haven't seen many 102-year olds, though
-
Probably a new picture of him here
-
Didn't look that good in January: On the other hand it's pretty admirable that a 102-year old can listen and engage in conversation for 1 hour and 18 minutes and you can mostly hear what he's speaking. According to himself, he exercises every day and if you look at his twitter (@RepWolff) he tweets nearly every day, even though many of the tweets are pretty hard to understand. One of the healthiest 102-year olds i've seen though.
