"Angolan authorities already preparing dos Santos' funeral" https://sicnoticias.pt/mundo/autoridades-angolanas-ja-estarao-a-preparar-o-funeral-de-jose-eduardo-dos-santos/ With these cases you never know what's true until they're dead, but some family member has already accused people of poisoning him and the President said that his condition is "worrying" yesterday -
My list on the first page has been poorly updated for a while, I'll try to update it at some point, but I went through all the mentions of Ecclestone and seems like he doesn't have one. 92 this year.

Here's some kind of an update post, with some opinions. Musharraf: Still not dead, Pakistani media seems to have gone a bit quieter on his health recently. Not such a June/July dead cert he seemed like a few weeks ago... dos Santos: Attempt to take him out of coma failed today according to Portuguese media. On the other hand his daughter claims he's stable and doesn't have cancer. Other inside sources say that he's very ill. 60% sure he'll be dead by the end of the week. Majumdar: Miraculously recovering (but he also never had a tracheotomy despite atleast one source saying that he did, which means he was slightly less ill than I thought) but not out of danger. His NG tube has been taken off, but he's still in ICU and unable to talk. Now communicates by writing. An MRI scan has not been done yet as he's not yet in good enough health, but they think he could have suffered a stroke. His list of diseases is long and even if he's discharged I doubt he'll ever fully recover from this hospitalisation. Gorbachev: I know nothing about his current condition but I doubt he'll see 2023 at this point. He's been ill for ages and had many close calls with death. Singh Yadav: Poster boy for an elderly couch potatoes with swollen limbs, but he isn't ill with any mortal diseases. Will be discharged, but his health will probably start to properly fail soon. Ponce Enrile: Isn't in serious condition, he'll recover again, but after these last two hospitalisations I'm going to bet on him not making it to 100.

Excluding those considered as claimants; 1. Lucile Randon, 118. Seemingly doing fine. 2. Tekla Juniewicz, 116. In great condition for someone her age and still able to walk. 3. Maria Branyas Morera, 115. Declined during recent months, judging on how in recent pictures of her she's on a hospital bed. 4. Fusa Tatsumi, 115. Wheelchairbound since her centenarian years, now bedbound and incredibly frail, as R. Young said she was in worse condition on her 115th birthday than Kane Tanaka was around a week before she died. 5. Sofia Rojas, 114. Oldest Columbian ever, wheelchairbound. 6. Bessie Hendricks, 114. Had "no major illnesses" a year or a few ago but looked a bit frail on her 114th. 7. Mila Mangold, 114. Wheelchairbound since atleast 109. 8. Edie Ceccarelli, 114. Physically in pretty good health, but suffers from dementia. 9. Kahuro Furuya, 114. Oldest person ever with a pacemaker. 10. Erna Zahn, 114. wheelchairbound

Portuguese newspapers, for example Publico, disagree: https://www.publico.pt/2022/06/28/mundo/noticia/tentativa-acordar-jose-eduardo-santos-coma-falhou-2011741 According to this article an attempt of taking him out of coma today has failed, he's in an irreversible situation and a source in his office has said that he's in worsening condition and on his last legs -
Casilda Benegas died yesterday at 115 according to 110club. First validated Paraguayan-born supercentenarian, oldest person in Argentina ever and the fourth-oldest living person at the time of her death. My guess is, she catched a cold and didn't recover.

Juan Ponce Enrile now hospitalised with covid and pneumonia. Despite his illness, Enrile assured both friends and critics that his death is not imminent. He is confident of recovery with the help of his doctors. “To all my FB friends, critics, and enemies: Please bear with me. I am in the hospital. To my critics and enemies: Do not clap with glee. I am not going to die yet. Far from it,” he said in a Facebook post.

Tik Tok/Youtube/Instagram star Sassy Gran Doris dead at 96/97, suffered a severe stroke followed by a heart attack a week ago: https://www.instagram.com/p/CfOHnC_urm6/ (2021 article: https://medium.com/authority-magazine/sassy-gran-second-chapters-how-i-reinvented-myself-in-the-second-chapter-of-my-life-c3434a25e57c) Must've been one of the oldest living social media stars. Only one older I can think of is Arlene "Ginga" Bashnett of youtube duo Gramma and Ginga. Now 103 and has been in failing health since suffering a serious stroke nearly four years ago, the most recent update on her health was a birthday post from her family in February where they said "she isn't the same Ginga we all knew"...surely can't go on for much longer?

Maybe he just needed some additional support in his life. It's not easy being a ex-dictator. -

Majumdar off invasive ventilator, but intubated and now again very critical with pneumonia and fluid on both sides of his lungs... https://tv9bangla.com/entertainment/tollywood/tarun-majumdar-is-suffering-from-pneumonia-even-after-being-taken-out-off-the-ventilation-au59-591000.html You're not a big fan of tollywood down below are you. This guy's current hospitalisation could be the highest budget production they've ever done -

Well Majumdar is still "critical but stable", but now also on ventilator and in addition to everything already mentioned his brain is not responding that well anymore: https://bangla.hindustantimes.com/entertainment/tarun-majumder-health-update-director-is-now-in-ventilation-31656160456154.html My guess is that he has around 12 hours.
