    Political Frailty

Soviet Justice Minister 1984-1989 Boris Kravtsov was given some award a few months ago, looked great for a 99-year-old: He'll be 100 in December and hopefully by then has outlived the guy next to him.

Why no Indians ever in DeathList?

Bhim Singh, founder/chief patron of Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party dead at 80: https://www.greaterkashmir.com/amp/story/jammu/panthers-party-chief-prof-bhim-singh-passes-away-at-80 Was reported a potential candidate in the July 2022 Presidential Elections last year. Probably would've been India's Castro if he ever got into higher positions, supported Gaddafi and Saddam and was a member of the Co-ordination Committee Against Economic Sanctions headed by Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Aziz (1936-2015) other members included Mirza Aslam Baig, George Galloway and Natwar Singh

    Who are the immortals?

Now that Pahor's dead, one third of the 2022 class is gone. Are there going to be any mid-year (ish) additions this year, like there was last year? I've got a small amount (five) of suggestions if there will be, a few of which I may have suggested before: 1. Giorgio Napolitano. 96, aortic dissection in 2018, survived being in ICU after "delicate surgery" in 2022, very frail. 2. Benedict XVI, 95, stroke in 1991, fall in 1992, suffering from heart problems for decades and had a pacemaker implanted over 20 years ago, mild stroke in 2005, bypass operation and fall in 2006, arthritis, shingles in 2020. Incredibly frail for the last 10 years yet has managed to outlive Eduardo Somalo and Angelo Sodano who was his successor as the Dean of the College of Cardinals. 3. Chiam See Tong, 87-year-old Singaporean politician who suffered two strokes in the 2000s, had a fall in 2013 and has been suffering from Parkinson's since atleast 2011, now apparently in late stages. 4. Pasqual Maragall, 81, Spanish politician and former President of the Govt of Catalonia. Suffering from Alzheimer's for atleast 15 years. 5. Shyam Saran Negi, 105 in July. He's been close to death so many times, how the hell is he still alive? (Or could be that he is dead and they just keep wheeling his mummified corpse around)

    The 100 Club

Means that the cohort of famous* people born in 1913 is now extinct. (*Actually famous. I didn't count those two Chinese people.) 1911 still has Camacho Quiros, 1912 has Luis Torras and Shi Ping (neither of them really that notable) and possibly that Djara Mickaharic guy (has he ever even existed?)

    Henry Kissinger

There's atleast five accounts on Twitter called "Is Henry Kissinger dead yet?" and as far as I know three of them have been inactive for over two years. Actually, wait, there's more. Oldest I could find was made in January 2017 and hasn't been active since June 2017. Whoever made it probably thought he wasn't immortal.

    Ideas and possibilities for 2023

Chiam See Tong 87-year-old former leader of the Singapore People's Party, politician and winner of South East Asia's 2022 Bob Dole Look-Alike contest. He suffered a stroke in 2008 that left him with lasting effects and has since suffered another stroke (around 2009-2010) and a fall in 2013. In addition he has suffered from Parkinson's for over a decade. Here's a video of him paying respects to the late Lee Kuan Yew in 2015, already looked like a corpse:
