Deathlist Dreaming
The Daredevil replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Last night, I dreamt that Cleo Laine was the 19th Hit of the 2023 DL. Her death title on the DL had something to do with her being "The Queen of Jazz." -
His ex-carer fights back All this stress cannot be doing Alain much good. The article also does mention him as "ailing" a few times, although as it is the Daily Mail, this should be taken with a grain of salt.

It is about time there was a specific thread for this French music icon. She has been fighting laryngeal cancer for years and has recently lost the ability to sing, owing to effects of cancer treatments. In the below recent article, it explains how Hardy now needs help going to the toilet and is in a very fragile state at the moment, according to her son. https://www.public.fr/Elle-a-des-gens-pour-la-toilette-Francoise-Hardy-affaiblie-par-la-maladie-son-quotidien-est-devenu-un-enfer-Un-proche-balance-1750927 And in the following even more recent article, it is revealed Hardy feels too tired to come to see her son. https://www.lefigaro.fr/musique/thomas-dutronc-s-inquiete-pour-sa-mere-francoise-hardy-elle-se-sent-trop-fatiguee-c-est-complique-20221201

Usually the no. 50 spot is vacated by a hard-living musician or criminal, so it could very well go to Ozzy Osbourne or Sidney Cooke. Can still see Willis at bottom of the list, maybe no. 49.

And quite a bit frailer than no. 31 and older Hollywood legend Angie Dickinson did earlier this year.
-
Shirley MacLaine looks worryingly frail in the article I posted on her thread. One for 2024?

Shares update for fans concerned about his health after having MRI Scan of head This one deserves a thread of his own, having been plagued with health issues for years, and would not like to be sharing Hammond's thread. Clarkson battled pneumonia in 2017 (which he nearly died from), suffered from two serious bouts of COVID in recent years, and previously feared he would go at 61 like so many others. There is bound to be a lot more news to put here in the years to come.

Chris Rea has had had more than his fair share of health issues (pancreatic cancer, diabetes, stroke); one to consider.

-
The DeathList has already missed 2 James Bonds, it cannot afford to miss another (especially as Lazenby looks so rough at the moment).
-
Isn't Wagner the last living major male adult lead actor from 1950s Hollywood? Still has a few years left IMO.

Looks like Van Dyke and Greenspan will be vacating the top 2 spots on the 2024 DL. How boring and unwise.
