    Death By Numbers 2022

Going to be pessimistic and predict my sloppiness in forgetting to pick her up at the trade deadline will be what costs me this game.

    Windy City Deadpool 2022-2023

Robyn Griggs a hit for me in the #6 slot. Imagine she'll have a decent chance at being the youngest hit, as well.

    The Dead of 2022

Damn, I'd really be on pace for a historic season over at that other website... if it still existed

    Political Frailty

Spike Cohen (2020 Libertarian Vice Presidential nominee) has just posted on his twitter that his party's 2004 presidential nominee, Michael Badnarik, has passed away aged 68. Badnarik's wikipedia page has also been updated to reflect his passing.

    From Cleric To Relic

Carl Kabat, who went into hospice care a couple of months back, has died at 88. Fingers crossed he somehow gets a QO for DbN and Windy City.

Would be well on my way to a pretty epic year on that other website... that no longer exists

Enjoyed playing this game. Good luck to the finalists.

    Death By Numbers 2022

Subs submitted via PM. Rushed effort, and one almost certainly won't get a QO, but they're in.

    DSCDP

As this is the site that brought me to deathpooling, this is beyond depressing to me. I have made an inquiry as to whether they would be open to selling the site itself... or at least the mechanics of the site (should Stanhope himself want his name removed entirely). Maybe I'm wrong but I don't see why a few of us wouldn't want to work together to run a site such as this that would streamline the whole death poll process.

Boy, did I hate this bastard back when he was a player. Suppose he was a rather harmless reporter, and occasional shill for fat-guy diapers, after his career.

    Death Anniversary Thread

Baseball legend Lou Gehrig passed away on this date in 1941, aged 37, of Lou Gehrig's Disease.... in hindsight, he probably should've seen that coming (I didn't look back but I have to imagine this joke's been made before)

So, just post a name not already taken then? Ok: Carl Kabat

    Deathlist Cup 2022

June team submitted. Fully expect it to be my worst lineup yet! A lot of work, a lot of pain, and not a lot of in-depth research.
