Kissinger is no.1 -
It's 2am UK time, I was turning off my laptop and saw that the survivors thread had been updated. I'm now not going to be able to sleep. Also YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I knew he had one, search function failed me.

David Graham pictured in July (I though he had his own thread but seemingly not).

RTD himself has admitted that he has buggered up the timing with this one, Finney (the actress) is 20 and the character is meant to be around 15, an age which clearly doesn't fit the timeline unless she is adopted but the ending removes that option entirely. We don't really know how far along the process of transitioning that Rose is and it's probably not going to be told to us, yes there is a slight issue with realism but I'm not that fussed as it's great representation and gets tories with brain rot on twitter angry.

I really enjoyed it. Thought to conclusion was a tad 'deus ex machina' but apart from that I think it worked. Jackie King as Sylvia stole the show for me and I want to run over that little space rat. Having to fix the Doctor-Donna meta crisis meant the main plot did get sidelined in parts but I don't think it was too bad. Guest cast were basically non-existent but they didn't need to be, apart from Ruth Madeley who is set to be in at least another episode so there is room to grow. The effects, especially on the Meep, were brilliant which makes sense as that single episode had the same budget as the whole of Series 1 in 2005. I'm getting nervous that Cribbins has had to be edited out due to not finishing his filming before he died, he could still be in episode 3 though. 7/10 Definitely looking forward to next week now that there is nothing to set up and it can focus entirely on the plot.

British Science Fiction Series
Commtech Sio Bibble replied to Tuber Mirum's topic in DeathList Forum
There has been the Tales of Tardis on iPlayer focusing on classic Doctors, Unsurprisingly Big Finish has dragged out everyone for a series of Audio Dramas and There's also the whole back catalogue going onto iPlayer and some things for BBC Sounds (In said Radio Times issue above the one of the main features is an interview with Tom Baker). The 60th specials are still yet to air but from what's advertised it is just David and Ncuti, but as always there's endless rumours of other Doctors but I doubt that Douglas Camfield will be dug up to reprise his role as one of the Morbius Doctors. Even if it is just David in the 60th there are other era's represented through the Toymaker, the Meep, UNIT, and Bonnie Langford. If you look at the 50th it was Tennant and Smith (and the retconned John Hurt) in the special with a cameo from Tom Baker. Davison and co. did that comedy skit, McGann has his regeneration minisode, Big Finish had a badly written celebration and there was the Docu-Drama with David Bradley. There was also the coincidence of them finding Enemy of the World & Web of Fear around the same time. I think there is less for the 60th but obviously the 50th is more important anyway. There's also the fact that we have just had a big special episode with returning Doctors for the BBC's 100th anniversary so it might not be the best idea to have another straight away. -

It will be interesting to see if he manages to make it to Rosalynn's funeral, might very well be the last chance we get to see him before he dies.

If it's not Jimmy or Shane I will eat a sock. I flipped a coin so I'm voting for Shane. -
Mrs Carter was a hit for me, to celebrate his 99th birthday I'll add William Russell

More good news for all Doctor Who fans on here. The surviving audio (with linking narration) of Marco Polo, The Dalek's Master Plan & The Wheel in Space have all been added to BBC Sounds, don't know why it's just those three but I'd only assume that there are more on the way. Also now on BBC Sounds are a couple of Big Finish audio dramas, specifically the first few Tenth Doctor Adventures, Out of Time 1 & The Beginning (with more on the way). And in case anyone didn't know there have been 3 Torchwood audio dramas on sounds for a while and if you have Spotify lots of early Big Finish is available to stream on there.

Well he's clearly not doing that bad if he's out and about this much.

20th Century Americans Sitcoms

My main issue (aside from hating 4/5 main characters) is that the narration from older Ted ruins my investment in any relationship he has. When there's that season where Ted and Robin actually get together I don't care about their relationship because from episode 1 it has been said that Ted and Robin don't end up together so I just spent the entire time theorising about why they'll break up. This issue is made worse by the finale where they actually do end up together and I just feel like the show has purposely been lying to me the entire time. Also the mother character breaks my suspension of disbelief, when she coincidentally almost meets Ted multiple times throughout the show and then somehow bonds with all 4 other main characters before meeting Ted in that final season. -

Yeah, the finale is notorious for how it undoes the entire previous 9 seasons. Neil's character pretty much has all his character development undone and goes back to being a manipulative creep who prays on women like he was in the first 7 seasons, and he's the fan favourite character. -

The worst one is How I Met Your Mother for me, the show spoils itself through the narration and all of the characters are awful people. I find it hard to get through a single episode. -

I just don't trust them after the whole Jerry Lee Lewis debacle they instigated and then everywhere else used their article as a source. -

I'm waiting for someone other than TMZ to report it, they've not exactly got the best reputation, especially in recent years.
