If there's one thing I've learnt being on here it's that, unless they're the ones to break the news, most deaths are announced by other sites about an hour before the BBC verifies them.

This all seems very sudden, excluding his fall last year (which is something that can happen to anyone regardless of health), up until last month there really wasn't any major red flags for him health wise. As much as I dislike the man seeing him go from a strong, albeit, boring speaker to this in a matter of months is quite upsetting.

One of those sort of actor's who irritates me is Steve Brunswick who played a Sentry in The Time Warrior and that's the only role he's ever had. That episode in particular only has 2 other living actors being Donald Pelmear who's just turned 99 and David Daker who's not far off 90 himself and retired from acting a decade ago meaning that if both of them died it wouldn't be known if the complete cast of the serial is dead. I doubt information will come out about him, unless he is alive and news of his death (when it happens) finds it's way to Hadoke, Cast & Crew or DW Magazine.

The Doctor Who Cast & Crew blog has Peter Thompson listed as dead in 1999 (link - scroll to his name) they're usually quite a reliable source (they correctly pointed out Lund's death) but I can't find anything to back this up, including the GRO.

My main issue with him is that he doesn't stop. No matter how many times people tell him he's irritating most of the forums, he gives the post the sad reaction and just continues as if nothing happened. At least John Sulu stopped with incessant threads and posts on 'individuals in their 90s' after being told it was getting on everyone's nerves and now he mostly just haunts the death anniversary and happy birthday threads. If Diego could actually listen to the criticism and maybe stop posting so many obscure sports personality deaths or even just compile them all into one post I'd be a darn sight more ready to defend him than I am now.

Terrence Hardiman died earlier this year and Wikipedia has his death date as May 8th 2023 using his Telegraph obituary as a source, however his Guardian obituary has his death date as April 18th 2023. The death announcement from his agency doesn't give a date however does have the Guardian obit linked at the bottom. Anyone have any ideas as to which date is more likely to be correct and if his Wikipedia page (and probably other sites) needs correcting.

The latest issue of Doctor Who magazine reports the off-the-radar deaths of... Conrad Asquith (The Talons of Weng-Chiang) died September 2020 David Cannon (The Mind Robber) died July 2020 Freddy Foote (The Wheel in Space) died February 2022 and three un-credited actors Dorian Van Bramm died December 2020, Iain Smith died July 2022 and Dave Mobley died October 2022.

Both parents still alive in their late 50s Paternal grandfather died in 2020 aged 89, paternal grandmother is 94 in November. Maternal grandparents I think are still alive but due to family stuff ties were cut over 10 years ago, so they may as well be dead.

Turns out I was wrong with Robertson being the first hit as Nobel Vega picked by @JoeMoneypenny died on the 7th and Doreen Mantle was a hit for @BabyBlue also died on the 9th. Please do inform me when your picks die, I only figured out these two were dead because I stumbled across Vega whilst researching for another pool and recognised the name and then saw that Mantle had been picked whilst checking the list of teams.
