The reason I changed it was because I didn't particularly want my actual name attached to the account, as when I signed up I just assumed I had to put my real name. My pfp was already a picture of the Star Wars character Sio Bibble and so it was the first thing that came to mind when I saw that this thread existed. I would also like to say I have never been described as gruff before in my life, but I'll take it.

Former Indonesian Vice President (1993-1998), Try Sutrisno looks pretty bad for 86. I doubt he is famous enough to be included on the list tho.

I agree that he's barely recognisable but I don't think that he looks that bad apart from the hands, his cheeks are sunken but I've seen worse (Bob Newhart for example).

I agree that he needs to be on the 2023 list but I personally don't think he looks that bad in the picture above, might even pass for someone 10 years younger.

Annette Crosbie (89 next year) hasn't appeared in anything since 2020 and in said appearance didn't look all that great, however this could just be because of CV-19 (but even before that she seemed to have slowed down with her career).

Was looking at some older US political folk and, in my opinion, Joe Lieberman looks quite bad for only just turning 80.

I don't know if you are doing a list of the missed for the eliminated shows but Austin Stoker would have been one for Falcon Crest.

Scales is someone that will be on the list to she dies. She shouldn't have been put on there to begin with 5 or so years ago but at this point it's probably too big of a risk to remove her, and if they did it would be a massive miss.

It seems to me that the committee are hesitant to add new names of people who are 100+, the only ones I can think of recently are Captain Tom and Shultz last year, they seem to prefer sticking to names from previous years lists until they die, such as Prince Philip, Kirk D, The Queen Mother & Vera Lynn. I think that these are good choices but I don't doubt that most of the new 'elderly' selections chosen next year will be 75-99. However I may just be spotting something that isn't there with this 'trend'.

Hard disagree here, apart from being old there is nothing seemingly wrong with him, and from what I have seen of him recently he looks and sounds about 10-15 years younger than he is. Of course being that age it wouldn't be surprising if he did die but there are definitely people in worse off conditions.
