Someone picked him in my dictionary pool, is his surname Jones or Earl Jones? I'm getting conflicting reports from google.

The Boggs episode of Sunny is brilliant, it's also my only exposure to him (not a sports fan at all). Oddly enough he was a unique pick for my Sunny DDP team last year but I didn't continue it for this year, so potential list of the missed if he doesn't make 2025.

Has only else on here been having trouble embedding Tweets in posts here recently? When I copy the URL it just stays as a blue hyperlink and doesn't expand like it used to.

I found a record for a Thomas Mann born 12th July 1919, died May 1977 in Manchester. Almost certainly him. -

I've just another quick look on him and found this which oddly I didn't see last night. If it is to be believed Mann was born in 1919 not 1925 as IMDb says and died at some point in the early 70s, most likely in 1972 (the 1979 short film credit on IMDb is potentially incorrect). -

I was doing a look into a few minor UK actors born 1925-1929 here's some of the names I've looked into. Barbara Ashcroft's IMDb states she died December 19th 2005, there's no record of this on the GRO and the only source I can find for someone of that name dying on that date is an American obituary for a woman who was born and died in Rhode Island, so I think her IMDb page is incorrect and needs updating to remove that death date. She'd be 97 if she's still alive. Rosemary Rogers (IMDb) apparently died four months ago aged 97 in France according to her page, although I can find nothing in English to back this up and I don't speak French. Michael Beint (IMDb) born in 1925 still alive as of last year according to this and lives in Swindon. Jeffrey Gardiner (IMDb) has no records that I can see for his death, so likely still alive. 3 names I've drawn a blank on are Anthony Brown (IMDb), Paul Williamson (IMDb) & Tommy Mann (IMDb) as they are all quite common names. -

I last saw him in person in November and apart from using a walking stick he seemed in good health. In general he makes less appearances than Sylvester & Peter, but he's got a few UK cons scheduled for the rest of this year and then he, like Sylvester, is expected in America in February for Gallifrey One. Edit: He was in Long Island USA last month, picture of him here with a balloon version of himself (top left). -

I think, and I could be wrong, this 'final tour' isn't him retiring and stopping all public appearances. I interpreted it as the last time he'll be travelling internationally for meet ups and similar events, maybe even just the last trip to Australia as I can imagine that journey isn't easy for someone of that age. I met Sylvester back in November at Scarborough and he was perfectly well then, very energetic and he seemed like his usual self. And I know the day after that he attended the premiere for the 60th specials. So he seems to be getting along fine with a busy schedule. Like Evil Grimace said, he's still doing conventions in the UK, I know he was in York this past Sunday. He's also set for an international appearance at the 'Gallifrey One' convention in the US in February 2025. On a separate note I was at Whooverville 15 in Derby this past weekend and everyone in attendance was perfectly well. The only comments I will make are... That Carole Ann Ford was using a stick to get around with and was the only person (that I'm aware of) that was sitting in photoshoots, Philip Hinchcliffe looked quite a bit older than the last time I'd seen him but seemed perfectly well, and David Gooderson is starting to look a bit frail. -

I'm currently in Derby ahead of a Doctor Who convention tomorrow, it's an incredibly run down place in my opinion apart from a massive shopping centre that seems to have had the entire city's budget funnelled into it. Might see if I can find this famous 'dead pool' while I'm here. -

Personally, I think Yahoo makes the game more interesting as it allows for a more diverse set of picks, by allowing for more unique hits and international hits as well. Without it I could see the game becoming even more UK focused and an over reliance on safe 'drop 40' picks from casuals.

I only watched the film for the first time 2 weeks ago, it's quite an important role in the film, if any of the four were to have gone off the radar I'd have thought it would've been Tarn. Also worth noting that he had a couple of minor roles in Doctor Who, which makes it even more shocking he's been unnoticed for 4 years when half the show's camera operators get obituaries in the it's monthly magazine. -
I put him on my shadow list for this year as a punt because he's fat, lives a less luxury lifestyle than most world leaders, and is quite old. The punt has well and truly paid off and I think he is must include for next years list at this point, given he makes it.

Just been looking into this I'm seeing reports from the end of last year that Andy Scott's prostate cancer has reached stage 4. Although as a massive fan of The Sweet I'm hoping that I've misunderstood something.

I always get teams in for games ASAP, and I know it can be annoying. But if I didn't it would irritate me and I'd be scared I'd forget and could cause problems with my anxiety. It is what works best for me and I apologise if it irks others.- 61 replies

@Elvis is alive! above is your original post about this where you asked if it was possible and you were met with a resounding no. This 'theory' is something YOU have literally made up yourself and yet now you see to be treating it as if it as a widely accepted fact and are calling the rest of us stupid for not believing you. Please, for the sake of everyone, don't post about it again.
