I've yet to see any proof this is real. These pictures were on Reddit/Twitter before Dailymail snatched them.

It is impossible to evaluate a President so close to when he was in office. His legacy hasn't been set yet. "Good" or "Bad" decisions haven't been determined yet as their effects are ongoing...

The issue is physical media deteriorates and most are unable to be used without a third party device. There will come a time that the devices currently used to play them no longer work, or are sold in inconvenient ways (i.e. VHS/VCR). The media may also simply no longer work in the future and have no means to replace it. I've recently made the decision to divest myself of all physical media besides a few DVDs/Books I feel some semblance of emotion towards. The material items are a pain to take care of/move + are not going to last anyway. Might as well get rid of stuff now when it has a value. I'm in the process of selling, no exaggeration, hundreds of items. If I want it again, it is available either online, in a library, or can be found for very cheap through a variety of stores. The idea of Minimalism really is quite appealing.

I disagree. We all die. Why shouldn't we get to choose how? Does the pain of a family lessen when their significant other gets cancer or hit by a car?

It will be interesting to look at the state of American politics in 10 years. We will see a massive changing of the guard from deaths/retirements. Not all countries can say that and it hasn't always been that way in the U.S. Look at the Bush/Clinton eras that seemed relatively constant for 20-30 years.

You realize Trump attempted to leave NATO right? Did our allies prefer that over missing dinner?

Time for an update. As noted above, Meg Johnson is a hit for @Grimgrass with the show Emmerdale. @Toast now has their second hit with Tony Bennett passing away over the weekend. That show being Juke Box Jury. That means nearly a year into this game, we have 5 hits and our first player in a position to win! Rosemary Squires (b.1928) is now the name to watch.

Sad. I don't think people realize what a good guy Tony Bennett was. I'll be listening to his music this weekend and I feel a bit more sad than expected. RIP
