I watched it. Nothing to post about. He made a few mistakes, but really it was one of his stronger days.

    Deathlist Cup 2024

Confused. I thought the highest scoring 'loser' from the previous round gets to replace those who don't submit a team? @gcreptile

It's not exactly a breaking news worthy moment for the average person. Consider it is 1am EST as well. It'll come out in a few hours if true.

    Hollywood Possibilities

(IMDb) Eddie Driscoll passed away December 15th of last year, possibly due to stomach cancer. Not a very notable career, but I liked him in The Last Ship and he also had a small role in the film Cellular.

    The Dead of 2024

Death is inevitable. I don't see a problem with a person deciding how it happens. There are enough people who decide to live without preventing though who wish to die.

    Conspiracy Theories

As with every crisis, the powers that be (government) did what they thought was best at the time. The vaccine was a extreme reaction to the extreme situation. Obviously, no-one wants to rush a vaccine that millions of people are going to get. As of Sept. 2021, 64% of the world had this vaccine. It is likely that a small portion of that percentage had reactions, possibly fatal, to the vaccine. Just as with every vaccine. It seems undeniable that the vaccine saved lives, far more than it cost. As others have said, COVID-19 (which was likely not a natural strain) is a deadly disease. It makes sense that the wild strain would be more dangerous, especially with uncontrolled mutations. The vaccine was necessary, vital, and it is sad that so many will never appreciate it. @the_engineer you've been gone for long enough I'd thought maybe something had changed. It's sad that it didn't.

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?

I watched this anthology when it first came out, highly recommend! A few episodes are duds, but it really scratched an itch for me.

    20th Century Americans Sitcoms

@RoverAndOut I agree with you. I am a fan of Friends and Matthew Perry. An actor/actress should be honored from a POV of notable works/fame. If they have a place in Theater + Film + Television, that's a lot of remembrance. Matthew Perry didn't make any notable films and his television resume extends to other shows such as West Wing + The Odd Couple. People are just sensitive because the death is still raw.
