Been To Any Good Gigs Lately?
DoltonMoney replied to Brinsworth House Baiter's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go see Paul McCartney (member of The Fireman) in concert last night at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester. I travelled all the way across the pond for this show, and I was not disappointed. I had heard that he sounds terrible in concert now, but I have to say he did much better than expected. Even if he did sound a little rough at points, he's still a living legend and I'm incredibly fortunate to have seen him. -

This is one fascinating dude. Really the whole history of Zion, Illinois is a hell of a story. Still a pretty strange place all these years later. -

Cancels convention appearance. His team says he's unable to travel. Definitely declining pretty rapidly. Will he make 2025?

Speaking as a college freshman, she definitely has a widespread fanbase to this day. Definitely a good endorsement to have, though I feel as if most of her fans would support Kamala anyway.

Very funny, definitely check it out if you can.

I was recently in Danville, Illinois, and came across this mural of famous people from the town. Strange coincidence that two DLers both have roots in a small town in Eastern Illinois. There was also a bit of a DVD worship going on in all the businesses in the downtown area, with shrine-like collections of DVD merch.

I have pretty major Midwest pride, so the Walz pick makes me genuinely glad to vote in this election, as opposed to a half-hearted affair.

Oh my God finally! I was considering voting third party (I'm in Illinois which would go to Democrats if Biden were a literal corpse) but now it's looking a little better. But now who? I'm thinking someone sprightly like congresswoman Grace Napolitano.
